The opening hymn of my mother's requiem mass in Brisbane Australia in 1998. It did set the tone for one of the most beautiful ceremonies I have ever been part of.
He was our parish priest last before being elevated. It was our privilege and honor. He's a great confessor--somehow that means more to me than so much else. I hope it translates well in his office of bishop.
