How do you put them on? When I go to the materials area I don’t see any of the ones I have. I know they’re there because I can see them in the trading realm
When making a new creature slot or editing a creature's colours using an appearance token, material selection should appear under pallets (Creature's default pallete and select more palletes) The material button has a + on it and 4 materials in an askew 4 quarter pie shape. If you click on that, the materials you own should appear and you can click to put one on your creature! If things aren't appearing in it, and you know you have materials, you may need to make a bug report in the Creatures of Sonaria Discord server 🤔
if you make the color of a certain region on your creature's body very dark while equipping the "Ice" material pallet, does it make that region visible unlike the rest?
I'm not sure about the first one, I haven't tested it so I can't say for sure. But for the materials being kept, non-Sonaria (Ikoran symbol) marked materials DO require an appearance token to save. Ones marked with it do keep without a token. If you have a pallete and a non-marked material(like forcefield or granite) on the same creature, it'll only cost one appearance token to save both of them.

Hey can you make a video on how to customise magma i would really appreciate it because whenever i use magma on my noxulumen it keeps spawning in looking different to how i customised it in the edit option
Unfortunately not even I've been able to wrap my head around material colouring works. I know that different colours of varying 'temperatures' (Darker colours = cool, Warmer colours = lighter) change what kind of material things are (On certain materials, maybe not all of them.) I'm not sure if I'd be able to make a full video about it, but maybe try messing around with different colours/colour temperatures on your creature to see what works?
How do you mean? Like what are some impossible/exclusive to get materials? All "obtainable"/current materials in-game are in the video. Void material used to be role exclusive. Which role? I'm not exactly sure, but it meant to get it you had to trade with a role owner who had it and to see someone with a void material was INCREDIBLY rare. I haven't heard of or seen any materials like that since Void. I think there are some "error" or exclusive/broken colour palletes, but unfortunately I don't know much about them and their existence in recode is speculation based off of my friend owning one in Legacy (Because of Recode, the pallete has since been deleted, though. But another might still exist somehow.)
I'm still kinda confused about mats even though I've played for almost three years so I may not make sense but it says when you try to delete a creature with a pallette or mat it says that unless you have a App Token that you'd use it unless it's an exclusive one so I'm just asking for the sake of knowing

I know all signature materials keep, all the ones with the Sonaria logo keep without a app token (Like Shadow, Vampire, Aphrodite, all of those have the symbol). I don't know about the normal materials, like granite or force field. I'll go check for you real quick. Okey yes, non-Sonaria marked materials DO require an appearance token to save.
