I'm in Vancouver Canada to try some delicious rice noodle roll where you can add truffle to any of the rice roll dish you get and then I had an amazing Japanese hand roll in the Richmond mall. The next day I stopped by for a Japanese emperor sushi bowl for breakfast and for dinner I had an amazing all you can eat wagyu beef BBQ!

Hey Mike , I watched your videos 6 years ago before my first trip to Japan and you helped me find the best shabu shabu hotpot place. It was so nice seeing you try some of the restaurants in my hometown now! If you have time, I recommend Chocho , Kook and Katsu san if you have time (may have to reserve to ensure a spot)! I'm from Vancouver (now in Richmond) and have to say the rice roll and the Hello Nori were great choices. Good research. Actually, I hadn't seen the inside of Yin Ji because I've been using a delivery service for it. I love rice rolls so finding out how easy they are to get in Richmond was fantastic. I do prefer the dim sum version which are narrow rolls that stay together with more rice noodle than filling but after having trouble finding rice rolls in downtown, I'm not complaining really. Love the Hello Nori downtown and the crispy nori was a revelation for me. Excited to try Jing Tan.

16:06 Mike Chen, at an all you can eat Wagyu buffet ordering rice. By all means, eat what you want. But the Mike of 7-10 years ago was judging his friends for getting rice at a regular buffet.
I only wish I could financially afford to order one of those Tokyo treat boxes! Those snacks looks like they'd be so tasty! 😟😟🥴😋😋😋

I had rice rolls for the first time couple months ago in Flushing, they were amazing... one of my favorite foods all year.

Hello Nori has it's first location in Downtown Vancouver on Robson Street, the Richmond Centre location is their second location.
My flavorite is shrimp and char-siu rice roll. So delicious!

Gyubee Japanese grill just opened in Richmond. Also all you can eat. Very busy place and not bad.
You sat at the same table at the BBQ place when I went this fall. I regret not getting the Wagyu menu.
