Smosh wouldn't/shouldn't have an issue with it (there's no power imablance that would make it an HR nightmare, it was more than likely happening since around the Defy days, etc) so of course they'd tell this very close group of family-like friends and coworkers. They just were lucky enough to have such a great group around them willing to keep it quiet, only joke about it as if it wasn't real, delete insta stories if they slipped up and caught Shartney in a moment, etc.

Besides all of this I have no reason to believe they lied and at that point it's weird to question their words. They've said it themselves, they are married, why wouldn't I believe them? There are literal pictures from their ceremony. They both wouldn't lie about this if it wasn't true, but there also isn't a reason for it.
