Juliet is just like my very own catwoman who doesn't want to hear nothing about water! 😾 And Laura resembles my neighbour's cat who's eager to dip into whatever body of water is near her! 😺 Thanks a lot to the both of you for having shared the good laughs with us; the countryside scenery was just marvellous and made us breathe into freedom! 😁😃 =]
@@lauragriffithsoutdoors got back late last night. It was pretty brutal in the heat, but a great time, it’s such a beautiful route isn’t it. Back to work for a rest 😆
Fabulous account of your trip in this series, it just shows how much you enjoy these outings and has given us all an insight into the South Downs Way...thanks for sharing Laura, great fun to watch....hope the bike fix wasn't too expensive 🚵🌞
great series of vlogs Laura, looked like a brilliant ride along the south downs, albeit with a mechanical - but you guys seemed to have a blast and giggled all the way through :) proper fun on the bikes, I must get back on the downs soon, your vlogs have defo inspired me to make it happen again this year - hardtails for life - not just for the downhill to Eastbourne :)
Great video series - really enjoyed them thanks. Would love to do the south downs way myself, but it's a bit far away. Hoping to do the king alfred way in July though.
@@lauragriffithsoutdoors King Alfreds Way is a 220 mile circular ride which (officially) starts at the King Alfreds statue in Winchester. Takes in a bit of the SDW, quite alot of the Ridgeway, Salisbury plain etc. Same great rewarding views, but climb is alot less brutal!
Enjoyed the 3 vids , think u captured sdw really well, nice tune at the end 🙂. Have done it sdw once and watching your vid just reminds me what a great route it is , definitely worth doing again 😄👍
Hi Steve, i didn’t starve the ride to save phone battery but if you visit southdownsway.org/activities/cycling/cycling-the-south-downs-in-3-days/ You can find the GPX for the cycle route
Whoop whoop! Well done, Laura. That was a lovely video, though slightly terrified and rattled by the downhill descents - were you going as fast as it seemed?? :)
Great video! May need to free range some cream/milk from one of those cows or pack a tin of milk. Can't have tea without milk. That is just not civilized.
I enjoyed your laid back approach to the route and the fun attitude.
Loved your adventure with Juliet. You two are so funny together!
Awesome trip, it looks like you and Juliette had a blast. Thanks for taking us along.
Thanks we really did enjoy it
Great video glad your mechanical did not spoil your trip🤗🚴🏼♀️🚴🏼♀️
Well, this series has been entirely enjoyable. Thanks for sharing with us!
Thanks for watching Scott 🙏

Thanks Tommo
This certainly inspires me to get out on my bike and enjoy the countryside now the better weather is here.
Great video you did well hope fish chips and beer went down well.
It was well earned

Enjoyed this series. Like how your helmet & bike match your nail colour! 😍
It wasn’t intentional but it’s cool it worked out that way, nice of you to notice 😊
Great little series Laura ! Thanks for uploading.
Thank you
Love watching bike packing vlogs you are so brave doing your cold water swimming 😳 just loving you nail varnish 🤔 been for a colour like this xx
Thanks Nicola
Loved the videos- great riding. 🤘🏼

Sounds great, I think the king Alfred way sounds like a fab trip
Nice one - you'll enjoy the KAW. We rode it last year. Preferred it to the SDW!
@@easthantsXC hiya what’s the difference? I don’t really know much about KAW

@@easthantsXC oh okay I didn’t know, SDW was hilly 😅 is it as much off road and is it more gravel, single track or road than SDW?

Thanks for the comment, it really is a great route, off road for that distance is so rare
How did you get back to Winchester presuming you left a vehicle there. May I ask which bike shop your hubby owns?
We got the train back via Clapham junction
Hi Laura love your videos , do you have strava details for this ride?
Hi Steve, i didn’t starve the ride to save phone battery but if you visit southdownsway.org/activities/cycling/cycling-the-south-downs-in-3-days/
You can find the GPX for the cycle route
Enjoyed watching this series thanks, looks like a nice route. How did you damage your bike like that? did you hit a rock?
I caught my shirt in my mech on day 1 and bent it slightly and it got worse and worse until the chain went over into the wheel
Whoop whoop! Well done, Laura. That was a lovely video, though slightly terrified and rattled by the downhill descents - were you going as fast as it seemed?? :)
Yep we really were going that fast, how Juliet does it on a gravel bike I don’t know. Girls got no sense sometimes 😂
Out of interest do you carry a lock for your bike?
Yes I have a mini lock, it's a small pull out cable with a combi lock, enough to stop someone just running off with it
