All donations to NCDC and the Nigerian government should be withdrawn.

Donald Trump is a summary of the personality and intelligent of the Nigerian political elite class. We have let ourselves be governed by a bunch of trumps for way too long. Even a country like the USA is already struggling from one tenour of a trump.

Some people do not do the right thing until they and theirs become casualties of the wrong thing.
This is what applies to the Nigerian government and politicians.

It's ok, NCDC should please leave Kogi state alone. The Governor knows what is hiding or what he intends to achieve, stop begging them.

Thanks Dr Abati for ur critic & analysis on this achievement fit of D.J. Cuppy [daughter of Femi Otedola] , for her hard work which needs to be emphasised for the youths of her generation because despite her father's wealth that she Cuppy still put hardwork in all she does to get her notoriety & even looking at the clip of the video it's obvious that she puts all that is visible here together to achieve & also to marvel at. I love her totally and her hard work pays no matter who or what & recognition comes with all efforts diligence .

@Tee X When you have money, people will commend you for the littlest thing they would normally overlook from the poorest of the poor.

If two persons have tested positive in Kogi, why wouldn't the NCDC send their names and data to the Kogi government? Why send the result to others while the leadership of Kogi State is kept in the dark. Reuben Abati should stop insulting people on this platform. Knowledge is not domiciled in your studio alone. Your analysis is too bias. How comes, we only hear of figures and not people in most of the cases in Nigeria. Outside this country, we see videos of patients in the hospitals, but in Nigeria, we only see figures and not cases. NCDC cannot love the Kogi people more than themselves. Have you people observe that your viewers are reducing by the day. It is because your analysis lacks finesse and truth especially as it concerns this corona virus pandemic issue.

If videos of the patients are shown publicly, they may be shunned by their community when discharged

Should the whole citizens of this country sleep and face just One Direction? Can't we give a hearing to an individual who reasons differently? I don't think everyone should just say yes at all times. Let's try to give some considerations to differing opinions sometimes.

Any discerning observer saw this uncontrollable violence, and therefore, current massacre by armed herdsmen coming a long time ago! Even in the north.
We must never fail to condemn anything wrong anywhere. Whether perpetrated against the south or middle-belt - for instance, Plateau, Southern Kaduna and Benue. Because we’re all connected and all in this together.
Those who kept a studied silence when it was happening in these places, perennially, are now and will be, coming out of every woodwork to condemn the banditry and killings because the theatre of operations is shifting.
You can’t arm so-called herders with sophisticated weapons - AK-47 - and expect they don’t become big headed, and conveniently, arrogant over farmers and the rest of us, overtime. Especially, when security forces, at best, tacitly condone it, either from direct orders from above or through their body language.
We’re just seeing the initial flavour of the ripening violence of Buhari’s Nigeria. But, let it be clear, you can’t continue to visit violence on innocent others forever. Something must give. It could be a resort to self help. Ask Boko-haram. Ask the Niger-Delta Avengers. Ask all freedom fighters in the world!
The oppressed and victims of herders violence everywhere in Nigeria will not fold their hands forever. They’ll eventually be pushed to resort to self help, and equally, take up arms to defend themselves. The clash could be ferocious. Nobody will like the ugly situation, then. But, this can be prevented by good leadership. So, Buhari, it’s time to stand up and be counted for good leadership. Now!
Obviously, the president’s perennial deafening silence clearly demonstrates complicit side-taking with his ethic group, the Fulani, and portends serious danger for the country. More so, when you juxtapose his decisions and actions, consistently taken before in their favour in the past, and when these same marauding Fulani herdsmen are exposed to the slightest danger against what he does for others. Buhari must desist from his pettifogging primordial ethnic sentiments and insular world-view and learn to be the president of Nigeria. And not just that of the Fulani. His current stance is utterly reprehensible and a crying shame!
It’s especially so, because there’s is certainly an ethnic dimension to this outrage. The subtext is, Fulani cattle herders are superior to indigenous farmers anywhere they encounter them. A misguided feeling and belief that hold sway from the president in Aso-Rock, and has, sadly, been passed down and imbibed by a sizeable number of the Fulani nation. A wrong way to run any society, and particularly for that matter, a federal republic, composed of multiple ethnic nationalities.
Regrettably, it has the terrible potential to send the wrong signals, which it’s sending, by the way, and eventually, spell doom for this country.
