This was a very nice twist, it doesn't always have to be something supernatural.
The ending where its revealed that the body parts Tamako collected was actually from her ill husband which could explain his constant suffering is one of the crazily plot twists ever

I had a feeling right from the start she amputated her husband's limbs, because he would be the easiest person she had access to in order to get body parts. My only thing is surely Tamako had to realize she was killing her husband more than the illness 🤔

Do I get butthurt and act like a jagoff to the commenter? No. Because I'm well aware it's MY OWN FAULT if I read comments before watching a video. It's called desperation and being at wit's end as she was also exhausted from taking care of him.

Great animation, you set the mood well with the lighting and style. I enjoyed the anachronistic elements to this story. Feeling like both an old story with early 20th century elements.
People still dressed like that in the early 1940s; they probably had traditional and modern (for the time) clothes to wear for proper occasions, like having Tomoko go to the shrine to donate and pray. I would imagine the light posts were using light bulbs and electricity and the lanterns were still traditional and lit by candles or fuel. Of course, the UA-camr and his team wanted to have the main character and some others wear traditional clothes for that chill factor

I already knew it. As a horror junkie, the plot is easily judged. But it was entertaining... I've always been a fan.
Oh man I am shivering! The moaning sound was so haunting and disturbing it sent chills down my spine. 🥺 Also I kinda guessed the plot twist. I mean where else she would get the body parts. Brilliant storytelling as always! Just a little suggestion! Please try to have a female narrator voice for the women in the stories. Thanks. ☺☺
Nice story, but pretty obvious from the outset that Tomoko would be butchering her husband. Grief makes people do strange things I guess.
Note for the animator: Japanese doors tend to open outwards, rather than inwards like western doors. 🙂

I like this interesting story but Nowadays all the stories in this Channel are about weird humans or murdering zombies stuff.
I would suggest you to make more videos on supernatural beings and spirit like Hachishakusama or new topic of ghosts. That would be more interesting.
