Fandomswillxcollide does some of the best Shadowhunters edits btw. They also did a fabulous video on Isabelle and Alec called "Where the shadow ends". The best introductions to the show would be "Remember the name" or "20 % cooler" by Fandomswillxcollide. The first one literally tells you the names of the characters but I feel like you would truly love the second one. If you like reading, i would 100% recommend the books. There's a lot of books set in this world (more than five series). The show is based on the main series, and even though i like the show the books are SO much better In my head i consider the show and books different series just because i hate the differences and inconsistencies they make with the books, but if you're interested do check out the books!
Yeah.. The books are definitely better but I actually began to enjoy the show halfway through season 2 (except for a certain storyline that revolved around Izzy.. TID fans probably know what I mean. That was sooo off!)
