18 songs in your Bob Dylan Playlist.... TOO COOL. It all started with this.... HE WAS GIVING OUT KNOWLEDGE | Bob Dylan - It's Alright Ma, I'm Only Bleeding (Reaction)
@@warrenhughes911 I wanted JM's first Dylan to be that one because it is so profoundly true about society and pure brilliance from the master story teller.
Another very funny story from Bob that will make you happy to add it to your list....Talkin' Bear Mountain Picnic Massacre Blues (Studio Outtake - 1962 - Official Audio)
One of my favorite Dylan albums. The song isn't one I would have thought of off the top, but I guess it's a good one. My favorite from this album is Political World.
Dylan's vocals are so distinctive because of the character he puts into his delivery from one song to the next each has it's own character.... Try this one.... "Lay Lady Lay"
"More Simple".... 60+ years of listening to Dylan songs and seen him live 3 times. Only ever saw one guitar "Solo". when Bob did a Jimi Hendrix version of his own song "All Along The Watchtower"... before the song started as he picked up a Fender Strat he joked.... "Jimi did a much better version of this song, so this is my tribute to him... won't be nearly as good but here goes"... Then he played a pretty damn good solo and the crowd went crazy cheering.... me too.
Bob really is a great guitar player. He did 2 albums in the 90's with just him on acoustic guitar and singing. The thing is in concert he always had excellent guitarists in his band. They were experts so he let them be forward. Listening to bob since 1966. Saw him twice. Took my daughter to see him at the Beacon in NYC. Someday she'll be able to tell her grandkids about seeing the legend.
You need to add the Original Grandfathers of Heavy Metal.. Nobody has ever done it better, these four..... Black Sabbath - "Iron Man"... "Paranoid"... "The Wizard"... "War Pigs"
I would really love you to react to a more obscure track by Paul McCartney called Oh Woman , Oh Why complete with gunshots and everything. He recorded this in the time frame of the Ram album. He was really on fire creatively speaking. It was the b-side of his single Another Day. I know you will love this track and also expose it to a lot of new fans, also.
"I feel like it could have been longer"! JM, it was probably 20 verses longer in rehearsal, with another 30 verses written on napkins. Toughest thing for Bob is pare his songs down to fit on a record. Check out Murder Most Foul, a song he wrote when he was 80. Clocks in at just under 17 minutes.
Solid reaction! I appreciate that you're listening to some of his stuff from outside of 60s.
The lyrics, the voice, the harmonica, the guitars, the melodies.... The Man like no other.
Great arrangement.
I agree with you, Bob Dylan is the poet of the everyman .😎🎶
Ooh p.s.
Thunder on the Mountain..
Glad you did this one, probably my favorite Dylan song. Thanks!
One of my favorite Dylan songs!!
The First And Greatest RAPPER of all time.
"Everything Is Broken"
Broken lines, broken strings,
Broken threads, broken springs,
Broken idols, broken heads,
People sleeping in broken beds
Ain't no use jiving
Ain't no use joking
Everything is broken
Broken bottles, broken plates,
Broken switches, broken gates,
Broken dishes, broken parts,
Streets are filled with broken hearts
Broken words never meant to be spoken,
Everything is broken
Seem like every time you stop and turn around
Something else just hit the ground
Broken cutters, broken saws,
Broken buckles, broken laws,
Broken bodies, broken bones,
Broken voices on broken phones
Take a deep breath, feel like you're chokin',
Everything is broken
Every time you leave and go off someplace
Things fall to pieces in my face
Broken hands on broken ploughs,
Broken treaties, broken vows,
Broken pipes, broken tools,
People bending broken rules
Hound dog howling, bull frog croaking,
Everything is broken
Masters of war and only a pawn in their game are good social commentary songs.
Most of the time, of the same album is a fantastic song, highly recommend it..
Some of us are very happy JMBOY TV is not Broken.

@@tonydelapa1911 Bob is a very funny guy when he's not being so serious.

Have you seen the preview of the movie with the giant shak?
You can hear a song. This song is a request that I did from The group Heart - Baracuda
