Disney Musicals In Schools at Playhouse Square - 2016

Last spring, Playhouse Square was awarded a grant from Disney to help bring the Disney Musicals in Schools program to Northeast Ohio. The program is an outreach initiative developed by Disney Theatrical Group to create ongoing theater programs in local elementary schools. Campus International School, Paul L. Dunbar Elementary, Marion-Sterling and Oxford Elementary School participated in a 17-week musical theater residency led by teaching artists trained by Playhouse Square and Disney Theatrical Group. The program culminated with performances at each school and a Student Share Celebration with the students performing on stage at Playhouse Square.
