Thanks again for another wonderful tutorial! I just picked up Vainglory’s Grotto so I especially appreciate this covering all versions of the game. Plus an added bonus of seeing the third installment in action. :)

Thank you so much for this easy to follow tutorial video. I love this game and follow your video I realized that I missed something from the rulebook :D
Sometimes I don't even want to buy that game but watching your videos really makes me happy.. Thank you for making tutorial videos. BTW can you make a video about Root board game?
Thanks for the kinds words about the videos - very glad you enjoy them interest! Regarding Root, I talk a bit about that here: ua-cam.com/video/EdtDuvIUa6A/v-deo.html&t=342
Great wee game. I've got Vainglory's Grotto. Only managed single player but looking forward to picking up a few more sets and playing with more players.
Besides great gameplay, there is awesome value in this game! Great production- foil cards, textured cards, dice all for 20$/€ For sleevers I recommend the 3D printed insert that is on bgg under files, as the insert is not ideal for sleeves.
WOW! This is a really clever game with great mechanics. I love it. I am not sure Therese would enjoy it, but since it is also a solo game, it would make my wish list! Thanks for the great video. It’s going to really help when I get the game.
I've only played the latest, but I avoid giving personalized recommendations anyway (what I like, someone else might not). I do look forward to trying them all!
Hi Rodney hoping you can help. I have a question about exhaustion. I understand in multiplayer everyone share the exhausted card penalties but do they also share the discard and refill of the hand? For a four player games it sounds really hardcore to only have 5 cards and 1 maybe 2 exhaustions per player
I'm not sure what you mean by sharing the discard and refill of the hand. Each player has their own deck, discard and hand. Perhaps I'm misunderstanding your question. Do you have a time stamp for the section of the video you are asking about?
@@WatchItPlayed The timestamp is 16:33 (Gaining new cards - Exhausting). I watched Monique and Naveed and I think I have my answer. When playing with multiple people and the active player exhausts to get more/new cards the non active players get the negative effects of the exhaustion but not the benefit (also getting a new hand of cards). If this is true I was in shock that in a 4 player game not only is your max hand size 5 you would only get 1, maybe 2, exhaustions to use for personal hand refills for the whole game (besides other cards that give back exhaustions). Am I right?
@@robertmaine5016 One of the challenges right now is that I'm travelling, so I'm not easily able to check rule books, but I can say that what's showing in the video is correct. I haven't thought about how the math shakes out at different player counts. With more players, there would be more cards "total" that players have access to and can use. In a 2 player game, there are 14 cards total in player hand (at the start), and with 4 players there would be 20 cards total. So while individuals might run out of cards more quickly, there would be more cards available for boosting, etc. I don't know how all of that affects game play balance (that's a bit beyond the scope of assistance I can offer). Hope that helps a bit.
Thank you so much! Your talent for teaching games is such a treasure in this community.
I don't often play a lot of solo games, but this was a great surprise! Kudos to the team on the design and quality of the production.
Hey, I'm struggling to purchase scorns stockade. And would like to pre-order the new one too. Where could I purchase them from?
Thank you.

Always such an amazing option to learn how to play! Thank for for being you❤

@WatchItPlayed I have a question though. I am playing the scorn's stockade and I cannot get the attached cards rule

are the cards really thin?
@@marielaporte4668 no, actually they don't feel like thin/ cheaper stock, they are also linnen

They are a higher quality card stock than you normally find in games (imo).

It's getting harder and harder to resist this game line. And how can I just get one in the series when I succumb to it? 😅
Glad you're enjoying what you see!
@@daem0nfaust yes, if you only play solo or with 2 you only need 1 of the games that appeals to you :)
