What is Ecrew? When I had to uproot and move to Indiana, there was a car community called Bcrew (B for Bloomington, Indiana). These guys became my family. Instead of partying on the weekends, I was working on cars- and I loved it. Since starting youtube, I have started what I call Ecrew. It's not supposed to be some childish "Logang squad." LOVE the paint! But Hunter is also right. Do the breaks, seat stripe and logos in yellow to set off the blue. You are different and so are your cars! Thats why we all love!

I agree....The color is not just great but unique. Strategic accents of black and yellow would only improve it. Personally....I can't see anyone actually caring if other folks don't like a color or not though.....Bottom line is whether SHE likes it or not. She doesn't strike me as the type to just fold to an opinion one way or the other....If she's happy with it (and she should be...it is hers after all) ...then that is all that matters. If she isn't....then she should change it.
Matching the yellow logo, I would do a pin stripe all along the running board and outlining the rear intake. It will make the kit really pop. That would also really accent the brakes and the seat stripe without being overdone.
Love the color, add the yellow details and maybe go for the old school yellow headlights to tie is all together 👌
I like the color. I think switching the calipers, accent stripe on the seats, stitched logo, and seatbelts to match the Ferrari emblem yellow would really set it off and complete the look!
Exactly Matching the badge color is key as the second tone.

The color is sick!! Love it. The color sets it apart form the norm, but the calipers need to be painted yellow to enhance the overall feel of the car. Looks awesome, girl!! Hang with it. Get it PPF'd and sit back and enjoy the comments.
Man, from some angles that colour is awesome - I think he has a point about yellow accents, the Ferrari sticker leaps out, but the red calipers look dirty - I'd love to see what yellow calipers and seat accents would do before it got painted, a little can achieve a lot! Stunning car regardless, kudos!
Agree. The color reminds me of Porsche and the Miami Blue. Looks great with yellow. Not so much with red. I think the combo with strictly yellow would be great. The red has to go.

If you're still questioning the color, you don't love it. You should love everything about the car and never say "I love it except for...). It's all about what you love and with this color you MAY like it but clearly you don't love it. Paint it a color you love. It doesn't matter what anyone thinks of it, it's your money, your car. You have to drive it, no one else.
I love the color because it's not black white yellow or red.. It looks fantastic. Take it to PFS and have them put a sick little design on it.
Break up the green with graphics like the C8. Either black or yellow
i dont know what yalls problem is, i absolutely love that color, both just as a color and on the car. it looks great. i know my opinion doesnt matter on here but, me liking that color has nothing to do with me not liking "loud" colors either. im in my mid 30s and i drove to high school and still own a bright yellow slammed s10 mini truck sitting on 18s (late 90s early 2000s brag lol) and my foxbody mustang is red. being different is what makes that Ferrari stand out amongst all the other factory paint ferraris
People are always surprised at a non-Red Ferrari or Corvette. I think Ferrari has a different shade of red for every model they make. Why be normal sheep ?

Don’t change the color love, like you said you can change it whenever you want out at any time if you want to. My opinion if you get the calipers in yellow, also stitching oh the head rest and door panels etc it will look so amazing. I love you and how you are female driven owned and also the mechanic. You deserve everything because I can tell the passion and blood sweat and tears. In each one of your builds don’t stop you are beginning to become one of the best automotive channels you are so open honest and so charismatic. The kit wheels and everything you changed are perfect. Because you are blowing up so I am sure just like Choi you will have different versions too, but painting the car looks so so so so much better. The depth and shine of the car wraps don’t even come close to to true paint! Keep it up ecrew. You are such a fun woman funny very beautiful plus you wretch on all your builds!
Me personally I love the color. I think it looks amazing. The body kit , the wheels and the color all look so good together. Like he said paint the calipers yellow and it would be perfect
I think the yellow is the problem, no matter what she does it will cause something to be off, if she just blacked out the yellow emblems the car would look better. Maybe black out the calipers too with red Ferrari text, as red matches the interior and taillights, the yellow doesn't match much except the brand.
I feel the same way. I think the color is fantastic. Maybe seeing it in person makes it worse? I like that its so different.
That car with that kit is screaming for red, it would look like a GT3 series Ferrari race car.

It's not a colour I would have picked but actually think it looks really good and looks better the longer you look at it - very unique, very you! Agree with him that I think yellow brakes (Same yellow as the Scudierra badge) would really set off the colour and make it look better! Awesome work!

Ya know, things are also one of one because it's customized...aka an Emelia signature build. The comment about the door jambs says sooo much, it costs more to do it correctly but it looks amazing when it's all done. When we see one of your vehicles, we know it's yours on sight. Go with what inspires you, you're doing great!

I'd keep the color and add the yellow calipers. It may not be a 'Ferrari' color, but it looks really classy and understated. I would leave it as is. Love it 1000%
I've seen this white smoke before in cars could mean alot of things but coolant might be making it to the combustion chamber either on 1 of the head or both heads or could be 1 of the vacuum hose might be sucking in coolant wich in turns make it back to the combustion chamber chamber
I actually really like the color. I do think some yellow highlights would take it to another level. Leave the color though.

Same with me. First time, before the new wheels, it just did not look good, but now with the new wheels it looks good. It may be even better in Ferrari red, black or yellow, but then it would not stand out like now.

I think leave it exactly as it is. If you look at the red tail lights, then look down at the rear red caliper and then look across to the front red caliper, it's like the stripe on the Starsky and Hutch car. It just flows nicely, down and across. If you paint the calipers yellow, it'll just look like it's trying to hard. Sometimes less is more.

Love the blue Ferrari 458! Emelia went bold with "destroyer blue" and truly it was a brilliant decision. If you must change the color, try a wrap first to see what color you prefer...cheaper than repainting. But I think the blue is truly amazing!
I agree with adding some yellow accents. How about calipers, and replace the Red on the interior with Yellow?

Love the paint. I agree the red, HAS TO GO. yellow all day. I feel like you need to go crazy though. Yellow and carbon the whole interior. You can make molds and custom carbon pieces pretty easy at the shop.

They did an AWESOME detailed wrap but change the color to what you want and you will be smiling that FANTASTIC smile much much more.

It’s a beautiful car,the kit & wheels are amazing,one of the sickest cars I’ve ever seen,basically a road going race car.I like the colour but I think it would look even nicer with a different colour,maybe a metallic red or maybe a pearl white with gold chrome wheels but it’s still an awesome car as it is.
Imagine worrying about $700 for a scan tool while sitting in your $250k supercar.

When the car was first painted I thought wow that’s terrible looking and the wide body kit I thought the same thing but once it was complete and the wheels were on, ooooh that thing is gorgeous. Looks amazing IMO.

The yellow from scuderia shield would look much better with black & red interior and with red calipers.. instead of doing everything just black & yellow..

I know this video is about the 458 -- but, my god do I miss my Impreza - exactly the same model you have, same interior, the biggest smile i've ever had when driving a car - that little burst of acceleration to the let the dump valve work - miss it so much - like you said, not the fastest but absolutely the most fun.
I agree with Hunter, Yellow stripes W/a fine pinstripe along side of the larger stripe. Paint the callipers to match. Perfection

You should paint the Ferrari Nero DS Opaco it’s a laferrari color that’s a satin dark grey and it would make the curves pop!

Hi Amelia, I had that happen to my corvette with auto transmission. Mine was vacuum modulator sucking in trans fluid and burning it. Hope yours is as simply a fix as mine was. Cheers from Motown.
Before you dive in and paint it, wrap it the color you're thinking. One, it'll take a lot less time, and two, it'll be a lot less costly if you decide you hate it, and want to change it back.

The car is fantastically done!!! On the color, I don't think the color is the problem, I think you would have the same response from any solid color (except maybe pearl or deep metallic). I was just typing "having never seen it in person", just as you start talking about that 🙂. From my perspective, it seems like the color is too flat, it hides the lines of the car, at least in pictures. Also, it seems like there is too much unbroken surface for that color, like a house with no trim. Brainstorming, there are a lot of different approaches to take, but have a look at the pictures, I believe you need something to break up the eye, bring out the curves, and add a little bit (or lot) of *pop* to it. There are some pics of the car with )( and some lettering on it, she looked much better in those pics. IF you are going to respray, I would suggest a brighter color, (perl and/or metallic). I think, if you want a Ferrari color, Rossa Magma would be nice.
You could literally see the G-force at work every time you stomped on the accelerator! The exhaust note is beyond sick!
Hear me out... Pain the calipers Ferrari yellow and add some "pin stripes" or decals on the side in the same yellow. Some contrast will do wonders.

If you are a F1 fan, you should remember Ferrari also was accused of injected oil into the combustion chambers to increase power output a few year back! white smoke was also a issue in pit lane back in the day! It is a Ferrari thing!!! embrace it
I love the color. It doesn't have to look crazy. It looks custom and sick with the kit and the wheels, but then the color brings it back to looking a lot more classy as well

I gotta admit he did have a point on the color. Usually a green like that has the Ferrari yellow on the calipers. Add yellow Le Mann headlights. With a two tone yellow with black pin stripe surround accent stripe following the headlights to the front fenders. Rolling down onto the door. Then flowing into the arches of the rear fenders. Just needs that contrast to pop. Although, black roof starting at the A and C pillars with everything else white would be sexy.

As a fella who spent half of his life painting cars and working in the full custom world, here’s my thoughts because you did ask for them.
First off, you will never please everyone with any one color. It’s impossible. Half will like it and half will hate it. You will never escape that. That literally why there are endless colors.
From my point of view, well done. I love the color. However, it’s just not finished looking to me and needs something to help it and make it pop. Getting rid of all the red for yellow would be a huge help and would give the color a contrast that accentuates it rather than just kinda leaving it looking mismatched. The blue and red just don’t go good together in any case I can think of.
Wanna get a bit crazy? Have your paint guy do some spray out cards with that color but have them put green pearl or gold pearl in a clear layer over it, then lock it all down with straight clear. Not too much, just subtle enough amount to notice in the sun or as you walk closer to the car. Not to the point it’s overdone though and looks foggy. I’d almost bet it changes the color to something that feels more like a factory Ferrari color and has the rich feeling you are looking for. He would also just have to scuff and basically re-clear the car vs a whole repaint of color.
As for white, from a perspective of trying to show off the liberty walk kit, white hides shape and curves unless you have pearl in/over it. Even then. It gives zero justice to shapes. You give the new kids in the shop that aren’t good with dents the white cars because it’s forgiving and won’t show that tiny ripple they couldn’t get perfect. In your case. You want the shapes and angles all to show and not just that, to be highlighted.
But if you hate the color, nothing will change that. Earrings on a pig at that point. You picked that color for some reason though out of billions of colors. I think it just needs a little more vision. Id bet a dollar that green, yellow or gold pearl over that color changes everything, matched with yellow calipers and some yellow on the interior to replace the red.
No matter what, props to you. I walked away from the car scene for a while but the giant in me is just sleeping. One day it’ll wake up and things will be created again. Until then, thank you for your content that I usually just silently enjoy. A true inspiration to the entire car scene you are, and should be valued as such. Just don’t forget that when you do things that are different and haven’t been done, people don’t know how to react. Ask me how I know with one of my builds that still gets talked about today, 12 years later. Personally, I think that’s the secret in success. There are far too many people just doing the same ole same with a tiny twist when they had the ability to go so much further and stand out in a crowd of cookie cutters. That’s the difference between them and you. Take the chances and see what happens.
You do you. Some people will enjoy it and some will hate it but at the end of the day all that matters is what you think of it since it’s parked in your garage. Enjoying the content as always, keep it up

I like the color but my favorite color is a 1990’s Corvette color that I painted my 93 Integra back in the day. That color is Bright Aqua Metallic it’s a sick color because it looks like the ocean but on bright sunny days it’s a beautiful blue and on cloudy days it’s more aqua. I really love that color.
I love the color on the XB and I love it here. So much better than boring white- yechh. Whole car looks awesome.

Gas is too expensive no matter who you are, and a 700$ scan tool for one vehicle is grossly overpriced..
She got it without the tool as it is and saved ...
When I started watching Emelia she had nothing and was barely hanging onto her apartment... it takes a long time to break those frugal thoughts when you've been scraping bottom...

Hunter is an honest friend, the paint lets it down but the finish and quality are amazing.
I love the paint but as you’ve spent a lot of money getting it done i would wrap it first in your next choice of colour. Then if you don’t like it peel it off and try another colour. If you do like it peel it off and re spray it in that colour. Cheaper than paying a lot of money for a paint colour change and doubting it again.

Body kit and wheels are amazing! Definitely not the usual Ferrari color I'm used to seeing. I think it would look more aggressive with a different color, but that's just me.

I love ferrari's but am from the old school of ferrari paint colours. Red yellow or black. Black can be an interesting colour with a pearlescent tint or metallic to make it different. Red and yellow have many shades to choose from. Brake calipers can be colour coded to body work.

I’m indecisive on the color. I think the front end looks good with it but the red accents just don’t help. I agree with the changes to yellow accents and maybe add smoked aftermarket tail lights. Personally, a satin gunmetal or white on this car would look mean and really fit the aggressive nature of the kit.

I dont mind the color, i think the color is fine, the front end looks amazing, its those square rear quarters that loose it for me.
Wrap it in a white avoid the repaint ....
Calipers red so they flow with rear tailights.
Red seatbelts to match the stitching and tie all together.

I think the color is great. Some yellow calipers would bring some bling. The body kit looks great. I would keep it the paint as is.

You should do an exhaust gas test on the coolant jar. As long as it passes you have one less thing to worry about.
She only needs to add a yellow stripe to the paint, maybe on the seat and stitching, logos, do the calipers yellow and it's set! You could blacken the wheels, add yellow accents as well, to make it pop and perfect!
I hear if you mix your fuel 50/50 with unleaded and diesel, the vehicle will stop running, or blow a head gasket. I have heard of quite a few exotic cars smoke until they warm up. Low T can lead to the inability to swing an axe or even popping the top on a can of soda. I really miss working on cars and restoring cars from the ground up and painting. The color would look good in a matte finish, but the car screams show me off, polished paint only. It is a fabulously beautiful car. If you want to stay under the police radar, keep it the way it is, if you like the attention of having a police escort to the side of the road several times a week, paint if deep fire engine red with a color shift from black to deep purple.
The blue looks amazing. I think the Calipers and interior details need changed to yellow and maybe yellow headlights too. Either that or paint the Calipers black or exterior colour and the face of the wheels Matt gold. NOT WHITE!
Definitely not white but we all said no to the weird green blue and she did it anyways. There was absolutely nothing wrong with the Ferrari Red. But it's not my car
The car needs graphics to cover lots of the weird color. Like the C8 was white and after the orange graphics you see mire orange than plain jane white.

I've said it before. That color does not go with that car. All the special features (except the rear wing) kinda get lost. If you painted it white, just a brighter color (of course) would accent said features. Doesn't matter when you do it just commit or leave it. Great video as always Emelia. Apparently the oily smoke on start up is perfectly normal as. It seems the car adds oil on startup to the pistons to allow lubrication. It's quite commonly said but I'm not an expert so really don't know for sure.

Keep the color! It’s awesome! Change the red calipers and red interior accents to yellow as the man suggested. That would make it perfect. 🔥 It’s a one-off!
