  • Food & Wine Magazine has named Baker’s Field Flour & Bread the best bread in Minnesota. The bakery and milling operation is located in the Food Building in Northeast Minneapolis. The flour is milled fresh daily and sold in Twin Cities coops and grocery stores like Kowalski’s. You can also buy fresh bread at Kieran’s Kitchen & Market in the Food Building.

    Revelation 6:6
6 Then I heard what sounded like a voice among the four living creatures, saying, “Two pounds of wheat for a day’s wages, and six pounds of barley for a day’s wages, and do not damage the oil and the wine!”

Everyone talks about the great food in houston, but I can tell you it is EXTREMELY DIFFICULT to find a good loaf of bread. Even the majority of “baguettes” here are terrible! They are dense, and hard. I lived in France-a French Baguette is crisp in the outside, and tender on the inside. There are plenty of Mexican bakeries, but their breads and pastries are radically different from European breads and pastries. I do not care for the overwhelming majority of what they make.
