I love the parrot cigar box also and I think I would leave the box as is and maybe lay and ant doily in it along with your spools and other antique sewing items.
My husband was like that. He would look up items that he knew I wanted or would like but seldom bought if every bought anything for himself. I would buy for him things that I knew he wanted. It was usually a new rifle and scope!! LOL You daughter in law did an awesome job on her stitching. The finish would really great too. I always make pear cobblers as I don't care for peaches unless they are really fresh and not from a store. I just eat them and don't make something from them.
Yes yes yes relaxation time …..Gotcha Dear One on the procedure……ooohhh toooo cute presentation of Your Daughter-In Law’s first precious work…..we do LOVE our harvest festivals…..here in Washington State mine is the Blueberry Bash first of August….oh please add FLAG Day in June to your list of Americana…..putting up my buntings and flags later today….
So glad you were able to get some extra time to stitch this week! It really does help relax the soul. You are so right, the colors on the Gorgeous piece are so stunning 🤩 I hope your procedure is quick and goes well tomorrow! You deserve a new start just for that!! 😂 ❤
I thought you looked tired without the usual pep in your voice but now I understand since you're going through prep for this procedure. I'm sad I didn't win American Blue so I guess I'll have to buy it. You flosstuber are killing me. At 72 I don't need to buy more patterns but ya'll are tempting me so bad. I'm glad you and husband are getting away for some relaxing time.
I hope the procedure went well. By the time I was done with mine, it had been about 36 hours since I'd eaten (they were running behind). I have to say that post procedure cheese sandwich they fed me was the BEST food I'd ever had! 😂. And the best sleep ever the night after due to the sedation 😉
All went well, and am ready for some food. Whatever I have for lunch, like you, I am sure will be the best food I have ever eaten. They asked me in recovery if I was in any pain, and I replied, “Does hunger pains count.” 🤣
Such a wonderful video! It's been forever since I've been to Little Mountain I definitely have to go back soon! #MiraforKira is such a cleaver one! I think I'm going to have to use that!
SC peaches are THE best! If you like pimento cheese with a little “bite” try Pawley’s Island Pimento Cheese. I get it here in FL from Publix, but I don’t think you have that store in SC.
The ones that I ordered are 13.5”x9.5”. Here is a link: www.amazon.com/dp/B07Q81JBNM/ref=cm_sw_r_as_gl_api_gl_i_dl_GXSC93JQV431YS1867A2?linkCode=ml2&tag=mischievousst-20
I'm having the same thing in July....I'm not look forward to it, I don't do well with that prep....makes me sick...we will see....thanks for sharing and please take care..
Girl, I feel you. That second to last glass did me in. I’m sitting here sipping that last one, and we all know how it is when you get sick on something you don’t want it….this is a necessary evil.
IBS girly here so i get that nasty prep you have to do. 🤢 hope it all goes well. 😘 love all the stitching! Your daughter in law did great 🥰 only a couple more weeks until i get to see you! 😊😊
Ruth here, years ago, a friend asked me to finish her wedding piece, many stiches were not crossed right, not the same direction on the top cross, l struggled do l rip it all out and start over, l left her stitching in and finished the piece. A few years later she died from a simple car crash leaving 3 young daughters and a husband behind.
What a sweet thing to do for a friend. I think that you made the right choice to leave her stitches and add your own. Sorry for the loss of your friend, she must have meant a great deal to you. ❤️
Thanks so much I so enjoyed. Your Daughter inLaw did a great job stitching. 😊👏🏻
Thank you! Have a great weekend!
I also love local cookbooks…especially from churches, women’s clubs, and 4-H ❤ Great video! 🦩🦩🦩

Peaches are delicious, but I really look forward to the Plums. They are delicious fresh from the tree.
Have a lovely week.

Hi Kaye. I’m sorry that you didn’t win, but hope that you’ll join in with many of us to stitch American Blue for the upcoming holidays. ❤️💙🤍
@mischievousstitches I looked for it but haven't found it yet. I do have a patriotic stitch I'm about to start if I don't find this one. Thank you.
I just started my American blue! Very excited 😊😊
Are you using to call for threads?
@@mischievousstitches I am! I have a similar fabric color
I made peach tea last weekend! Our peach tree has already given me 3 bushels.
Oh wow! That’s a lot. I’m looking forward to some homemade peach ice cream.
@@mischievousstitches I may have to mention that to the hubs! Ice cream is his passion. 😆

Great job on the framing. Have a great week.
Thank you. I sent it to Cheyenne today. I hope that she loves it. ❤️

We have Pawleys Island pimento cheese locally. It is a true pimento cheese, but we make ours homemade. It’s simple, easy and oh so good.
Just a FYI I received the Gingerbread pattern. Thanks again!
Great! I am happy that it has arrived.
Really enjoy your videos. What size Amazon bags do you use? Yes I would think they are economical and protect your projects.
