- Bleak Faith got an INSANE UPDATE! Update 1 adds a ton of features, (including an online mode) lots of fixes (even though the game still needs a lot more)... aswell as new weapons and armors :D

Lords & Bleak Faith are both games I really want the devs to keep working on. The potential is there for both of them. Currently still waiting for Bleak Faith to come to consoles to check this cult classic out. Keep up the good work man, still the only channel I watch when it comes to Bleak Faith 👍🏼
Lords has a similiar problem to this game xb It coukd be a great experience but the balance needs fine tuning.. lords is actually irritating to play for me, i want to like it, but the amount of enemies, that sometimes dont even stagger when you attack, the health bars on some bosses making fights longer than they should... parrying putting your health on the line even when you do it successfully.. it just feels like the game is actively trying to screw you over and its not fun :( but the devs would rather see the playerbase suffer, i guess ,which will only lead to more and more people putting the game down for good..
Seriously Lords was sooooo close. Remove like 10% of the enemy density in later game and fix the dodge and it would have been solid.

Just mind the big health bars xb unless youre into that sort of thing ... but yeah, the game has been steadily updated, its definitely worth checking out and hopefully it will keep getting better :)

Maybe xb i think it has potential , very unique stuff and its a very enjoyable experience... if they fix the balance, which right now is kind of ruining it :(
@@ruikiri Eh, those things should have been done in early access, people who wanted to play it already did and will never come back.
The one really great thing I got out of it is the OST, it is damn awesome

Just saw that the game is up to wishlist on PS5, so I am looking forward to be able to finally play it sometime this year. I appreciate you keeping up and showing off some of the improvements the team is doing.
Recently returned to the game and loved it! Things they should look at:
1. Add the red and blue swords into the game (3:45)
2. NG+ should have more added monsters and give us something to do with extra spell echo’s (maybe we can brake them down into essence or something)
3. Giants toward the end of the dessert level are stuck in pillars pretty consistently
This game keeps getting better and better. Hope it comes to console eventually

Great video! I love this game! But yeah, the balance of the last boss. There is a ring that you can get at the beginning so that you don't gain XP. Cool, you can do a level 1 run... I got to the last boss at lvl 8 (with shortcut cheese), and doing 10-20 hp damage with the boss at like 30k or whatever it is... insane. Pretty similar to your Konrad fight on NG+, but worse lol BTW, I have some shortcuts/cheese on my latest live (can skip Archinquisitor fight and all recalibrations too)

If you want to kill the boss faster right now the only solution is:
Weapon who have the abilities to debuff armor to zero & after that switch to your main weapon, use the potion who increase damage by 60%.
The Perk who gives you more potion slot and duration x2 is really important.
yeah the abilities are cool, (even though not all weapons have those De-Armoring abilities) but honestly as someone who likes the game.. i just feel that while we are in this state of gimmicky gameplay that doesnt "feel right" AND there might be new players out there picking this game up and dropping it for how frustrating it probably looks to them... while veterans might suffer through it because we already like it, i could never recomend it to anybody else right now :(
You totally right, right now i play the game on NG5 and you have to play with one weapon who debuff armor vs bosses because they have so much def. It's impossible to play without. I think they should resolve this.@@ruikiri
The new optional boss at ghost town is called plagued remnant and it's a pain in the arse (having mk4 equipment), it damages you every time you spend flux and doesn't let you activate any ability. And there is no reference or guide anywhere.
Btw at the end of the boss arena you can find its scythe as a usable weapon.

yeah, thats where the game starts with the bullshit xb and i think konrad is a nice fight, one of the better bosses for sure... but it takes just a bit too long to kill

I also think the balancing in NG+ is all the way off 😅 Tried it once, never again.
But Konrad on a normal NG is fine, I think. Sure, if you go straight there he's tough as nails, but if you explore the (for a tutorial level rather vast) monastery fully, you'll get some levels, a bow, the option for a technomancy staff as secondary weapon, stamina and health upgrade rings... (maybe even regen potions as secondary healing? I don't quite remember.)
The problem is that after konrad, the bosses health only goes up and up.. you get levels and perks but never manage to make a real dent in a bosses healthbar... at launch the game was fun because you could find good combinations that dealt good damage.. but now every boss seems to take 2h to kill regardless, it doesnt make sense... also gotta somewhat think of replayablility.. people are not going to explore every nook and cranny of the map every single playthrough, because again, that would be pretty tedious, but if you did you should be better prepared for the fight ..but exploring everything shouldnt be a requirement :D

Playing this on PS5 & having a great time with it. It looks much improved from the PC release also. Great game imo
I agree. My biggest complaint with this game so far has been the ludicrous amount of hp every boss seems to have. They should cut all boss hp by 25% at least.

an upgrade is an upgrade xb but honestly right now their bosses have massive hp bars and it just sucks the fun of fighting them for me, that is my bigggest problem with the game currently, but i guess that is how they want the game to be :/
Really want to get this game. Just can't quite convince myself to yet...the atmosphere and overall style is just incredible, I just need it to be playable enough. Looks like it's getting close.
Hopefully this hits PS5 by the time I finish LOTF & wrap up ER waiting for that DLC.
I love this game too, but yeah the boss fights really drag on, i much prefered the game on launch where you could become overoowered with the right perk/gear combinations instead of this... this game is a SLOGFEST NOW
yeah, the current balance of the game is very weird, normal enemies are fine, but the bosses drag on for way too long

I can't find bosses in this game I have 6 areas opened to fast travel to and found one boss early on? They need to add some way to locate the bosses this is absurd! Im almost 25 hours in just running around at this point looking gor a boss anywhere

Yeah, they are. Both trash games that took inspiration from the first Lords of The Fallen game with the clunky combat, janky animations and horrid enemy placements.
Is bleak faith just not going to release on console?
mind that it's just a bunch of guys making a pretty ambitious game. they probably need to find a publisher for console porting cuz it ain't that cheap and simple. since the game wasn't an overwhelming success on steam it's gonna take some time. but more importantly, they need to fix most bugs and optimize the game before even considering console porting cuz otherwise it's gonna be a disaster

I got to the end, and was completely turned off. The final boss fight is ridiculous. There's entirely too much going on at once, and you can't pay attention to all of while trying to attack. Also the Plagued Revenant fight was bs, I almost beat him twice. Only to either be dumped on by adds, which he spams adds to much. Or the stupid techno he casts that wipes you out in 2 hits. If you could spec higher than 25 levels it would probably be better. Sucks giving up like that, cause I really enjoyed the game up until those 2 fights. Maybe after they fix more of the bugs and clunkiness. I'll go back and give it another go.

I agree with you, Ruikiri about massive boss health bars in souls and souls-like games. I think they nerfed or it's a bug with Flux Leeching not working. Elden Ring is the biggest offender, I've given up on that game.
Elden ring bosses are squishy as fuck though. Lions claw greatsword kills them in 10 hits max
Elden ring doesnt have crazy hp bars, bleed does wonders aswell... although bosses hit pretty hard in endgame and thats also an issue
elden ring does not have a massive hp bar problem. Also considering the fact bosses dont scale and you can over level yourself, some ashes of war are incredibly powerful and you have the ability to stack a bunch of buffs, which arent necessary but make it possible to Absolutely DESTROY some bosses, which is a lot of fun so... i can safely say, you are doing something wrong in that game :)

being a janky game is one thing and being a casul "dark souls" with 999999999 hp bosses is another altogether

@@BaneofMills247 up to you, but i really hope they at least roll back on the "you can't roll off cliffs while locked-on" bs and focus on actual bugfixing and polishing all the overall great stuff they already got. casul patch makes the gameplay inconsistent and goes againts the original spirit of the game, imho. so yeah, maybe wait a bit. it's always good to wait when buying games, maybe they will go on a sale or smth then it will be absolutely worth it
