Do you think it reads like a tweeny YA novel? I’m watching different reels and yours seems the most honest

It does "read" as YA because it flows and is a very quick and easy read but the content is definitely not YA. When you get deeper into the series, the world and character building start building up. It's nice to have a first in the series just not dump it all at once.
