My best run of the weekend 1:53.791
Event 26-27Aug23 w/SCCA Appalachian HillClimb Series presented by Summit Racing
The 1LE is one of the best Chevy cars ever made. Miss mine should have never traded it.
Nice driving. Love seeing camaro still get some love. Those sounds ❤
that was impressive for street tires brake pads and alignment.
Thanks, I'm going to order some A7's for TT. I honestly didn't even know we could run hoosiers in super sport. I do have camber plates at -3.1 in the front and I'm using hawk pads.

I'm not knocking your driving. I'm just sharing.... back when my diesel dually was new I blasted up a 19 mile uphill road to an observatory. I was ultra familiar with the road because I'd go up there every Friday and Saturday night with a tow truck to recover kid street racers in an Eclipse or Civic or whatever. It takes most people 45 minutes to get to the top, the hairpins become sharper near the top, and like any mountainous road there's animals and debris to worry about.
I went up one time in 20 minutes. Diesel torque combined with my knowledge of the road and driver skill.
😁😁😁 but mostly that torque😁😁
Man I love that truck.
@xmo552 hsha I have a diesel touareg to pull the camaro, but it's not quite as fast up the hill. 😆
I am going to enter this next year. This is fast but I want to win it hahaha awesome car man!
It's a great event, there is plenty of time to find. Super Sport now runs as "Sport Max" but my car here was nowhere near the limit of the rules. I was on street tires and my car is stock powerwise. Id say there is about 3 seconds from tires alone and another 3 seconds from adding power and dropping weight.
this is excellent! Looks like death by tree if you mess up
This is so cool to see. The camaro is turning into a small car from modern standpoint.
Yea, it's staggering seeing my car next to a C6 corvette though. I think the only weakness of this car is the size. If I could get it down to 3200lbs it would be amazing.
@@SpyderRacing Totally agree, but for the size she def moves well. I always say the Camaro drives like a big Miata 😂. Love the driving super smooth.
can I just get this video but only the downshifts please. Seriously tho this video fucks, thanks for sharing.
Nice run!!
Thanks you!
The no lift shift sounds amazing
Yup it farts crazy 😂
Blecch.
Good driving pushing hard..
Awesome driving! Is this stock exhaust?
Thanks, yes it's the stock exhaust, just recorded with a microphone close to it.
@@SpyderRacing Sounds great!🤘
Very nice! What kind of modifications does the car have?
In this video it just has what's listed in the description. Engine is all stock. Not much. Car also has race seats and 4 point roll cage in it.
@@SpyderRacing very cool! I have basically the same car no mods though. Have done one auto cross event and I did terrible. Need to go back someday for redemption.
@@gtrance3567 practice makes perfect, she's a little heavy but very capable.
What mode do you run the car in for these hill climbs and track days?
Track with everything turned off (hold button 5 seconds).
@@SpyderRacing so everything off, impressive. I just picked up a 1LE over the winter. Not used to big power rwd, but will be fun learning it. Been trying to figure out the best mode to start with in autox and track days while I train my right foot.
@@andrewtaylor9681 I think on the track it's good to start with Track -> Competition mode and use Sport 1, then go to sport 2 and race once you get comfortable. For hill climbs you have to turn everything off, it's too slow otherwise. Never done AutoX but I suspect you want everything off there as well.
Nice! 🤘🏿👌🏿
