Stuart Scott changed the face of sports news. The effect he had on sports media would also have a massive effect on how people began to view sports. Following Sports became a trendy, hip new thing. The style and energy he brought to Sportscenter, had such an astronomical effect on the youth that I would argue it brought in far more fans. Stuart Scott was the absolute greatest sports news caster in the history of sports media. I loved him. He practically raised me I watched him so much. RIP Stuart. You were the man homie. His voice and Personality seeing him on tv took me all through Elementary School (1995-2001), Middle School (2001-2004), High School (2004-2008), Olympics, College, and Pros (since 2008); great memories.

Hey Stuart, we miss you. We started so many mornings off with your energy waking us up, and for some us, you gave us a little bit of what we needed to get through the day. You made our hobbies fun and gave us permission to be cool, like you. Thank you, Stuart.

I cried when Tom Mees died and I cried when Stuart Scott died. Two people I didn't know but I knew.
