I can tell that Ed is uncomfortable in front of the camera *however* when he talked about each child's personality individually, he completely lit up. That's saying a lot without saying much at all.
Yeah, doesn't look like he's shy to be on camera, maybe he just doesn't want to be on camera, it's not everyone's things I get that because I'm that way
Y’all/ mama is not strict, AT ALL. I remember when the twins were upset about shoes, you were so calm and just talked to them and explained that they didn’t have to cry and could do it theirselves. I wish i was handled like that. Y’all are great parents ‼️

I just wanted to say to the question about adopting outside your race and them feeling alienated...All of your children look VERY HAPPY! They look fulfilled and spoiled Wich is amazing! 😀. I don't think those babies want for anything. You guys are doing great with them
I think people forget that this is a FAMILY, like... when the children look at these adults they just see mom and dad, and when this couple look at these little ones they see their own children. I always peep the man’s energy in these scenarios because imo it’s more telling than the mom’s, and you can tell he’s emotionally invested just like she is! Obviously, momming is always going to be a special dynamic but he clearly wants to father them, and that warmed my heart. They’re doing their thing! ☺️👏👏👏👏
My husband and I adopted five children from the foster care system after having raised two biological daughters. We too are “structured”. Our home is much less chaotic than many smaller families and I attribute that to the fact that we have structure, routine, and very clear expectations. I am also an elementary school teacher who works full-time. I always say, “Hey, I’m used to teaching classes of 25-30 students so having five children at home is a piece of cake in comparison. I was so wishing I could just give you a big hug. They finally that's behind you and you can breathe. You and your husband have a beautiful family ♥️

I literally had to go through my history but the first video I saw was your “Solo Mom Evening Routine With 5 Kids” exactly 1 month ago. It’s crazy I feel like I’ve been following you for over a year!
I feel that you've maintained a connection with someone in the biological families of your adoptive children is extraordinary and wonderful and I pray many blessings to your family.
Y'all are doing an amazing job with 5 children. I'm one of six. My mom & dad took flack from folks because we had a large family. Jealous. But, the Bible says in Psalms that "children are an heritage from the Lord." You all are blessed!

That why I worked hard in the state of tn telling my story to prevent that from happening with sibling groups and helping changing policies.
You’re family makes me very excited to start my own. Being able to see you and your family grow and blossom makes me feel very much apart of your family. Thank you for sharing your life with us. The first video I saw was you doing your little girls African-American hair and I was amazed. Being African American myself and finally going natural after being relaxed since I was about 11 I’m just now realizing what it takes to nourish our hair and to see you do it for your child.....It is a lot of work and means a lot to me and to all of us African American women out there. Coming from a grown adult now who was a child in a long term foster family.( I was a lucky one) I appreciate everything you guys do. It is not easy doing what you do. Much love in your road ahead and what you do.
Hey Mama 😊. The first video I came across was the hair routine + tips for foster and adoptive moms and at that moment, you won me over. I hit that subscribe and notification bell so fast 😂 and immediately looked for your IG page. Due to this Coronavirus, I’ve had plenty of time to sit back and watch your videos, to get caught up on and it melts my heart, the love and compassion you both have for this and your kids. I’m also considering fostering/adopting due to my struggle with conceiving and could learn a lot from you guys. Thanks!
The first video I seen was when you were doing your daughters hair and explaining why it was so important to learn about African-American hair and how to make her feel confident in her skin and knowing that her hair is power. I just fell in love I have seen many people from different races adopt African-American children loving them but not truly understanding the importance of our hair and what it means to us. That video was the first time I ever seen someone speak on that.
Yayyy, this is the first time my question has ever been answered in a video ever. Thank you so much for being so open and thorough with your audience. I pray for your guy’s safety.

I’m a young girl from South Africa I really really enjoy watching morning/ night routine videos so it was no Suprise when your solo morning routine popped up in my recommendations, That was the first ever video I watched and immediately got hooked. I loved watching how you get up and how the older kids could help prepare themselves.❤️ I still look forward to more of your daily routines❤️
Wow I love your videos. I just came across them. I am a 55 yr old mom...kids in their 20s...and you are doin it right! You guys are thoughtful parents. I love how you think things through and treat your kids how you wd like to be treated. Also important for them to see a loving relationship. That’s how they will learn to treat their significant other. The world needs more parents like you guys.
My bio son is multiracial (black, Puerto Rican, and white) and both myself and my current husband are white. We also live in a mostly white area. I told our agency that we have a preference for children of color and everyone freaked out. It's not because I wouldn't love a white child as much; it's because I would like my son to have at least one person in the house that looks like him and so that both children have something in common. Also, I live in WV. I would rather a child be here than in the middle of the state somewhere where there isn't any diversity at all.
I raised my Haitian girls before UA-cam or much help was out there, but learned as I went how to do different hairs styles - it was wonderful. Now I'm raising my bi-racial granddaughter and turned to the computer to see if there was anything instructional. The first video I looked at was "Chizi Duru 'White Mom Natural Hair Care for Black Child'". What fun! First time I saw you and was so excited to have demonstrated exactly what I needed!! I immediately ordered some of the products you recommended and loved how my granddaughters' hair turned out! Thank You so much for taking the time! It was very interesting listening to your husband also and it warms my heart. Blessings to you all!
Every home has rules. Most homes that neglect rules and every member is allowed to act however they want with no structure at all are likely to raise irresponsible individuals. So yess! I support you guys having your own way of doing things and that shouldn't be seen as strict. How ever inviting God in in helps to maintain balance. You guys are awesome 😍 P.s. Next Q&:A where both of you are present, hubby should have a chance to talk too. Trust him more to tackle questions
The first video I watched was you doing your daughters hair. I was in awe and always thought she looks like rihanna when she was younger. LOVE FROM LONDON!!
The first video I saw on your channel was the African American hairstyles video and I was hooked from there! The way you talked about caring for ALL your kids and the different types of hair care required for each individual child was just beautiful. All I could think was "Wow, she's a great mommy😻"...I hope they tell you that everyday!❤❤❤
I never once thought you guys were strict. You seem like normal parent's. One of the reasons I subscribed iss because you seem like fun, young family. It's clear when you took that long break for months that you put your family over UA-cam which I can't say for a lot of these youtube vloggers
The kids are going to be alright because you two are in an interracial marriage besides hubby looks like he really isnt putting up with alot of nonsense/protective. Keep your grind strong fam.
Thank you for advocating for the foster/adoption system in your own way. Your story hit home in so many areas. My husband and I were just life partners when the opportunity to foster two sisters ages 4 months and 17 months presented itself to us in 2016. It was always something we had been interested in doing but were too scared of the emotional toll it could take when unification would inevitably happen. However, in the moment it became a no-brainer, and then two years later we were blessed to be able to adopt them when unification was no longer an option. Best decision we ever made. We even took the extra step and got married before the adoption just so we could both be on their new birth certificates from the start. The first video I saw of yours was while I was looking for tips on natural hair care for my girls who have multi-cultural hair and I ran across your video of you doing protective twists on your beautiful daughter. You were so detailed and you inspired me to give it a try. You quickly became my favorite person on UA-cam. Thanks for sharing your knowledge and tips. Continue being an inspiration!
The first video I watched was the Sunday routine from a few weeks ago. When you said you washed your children’s backpack weekly, I subscribed instantly bc the clean freak in me was impressed haha. But what hooked me was how you cared for your daughter’s hair. (That video went viral. I even noticed people mentioning it in the comments of other UA-camrs pages) From the braiding to the bonnet, I could not stop smiling. & Eliyah’s sweet sweet soul radiates through each video. Giveaway or not, I think it’s so important that you know you’re doing a great job!
My First video was a "Solo Mom" video a few months ago, when I first started watching you guys had around 40k and I was thinking you deserve way more than! I can't believe you're at 100k already in such a short space of time. I wish you guys all the love and support, continue being the great people that you are.❤ Love from the Caribbean🌴
I first found you through your what I got my kids for Christmas this year. Then I spent days binge watching and fell in love with your family. I dont miss a video now!!
My fiancé is a Gemini so it's hard to talk over him lol but I do sometimes 😂 especially when he trails off or gets quiet. Bad habit lol but hey, he listens to me and I listen to and respect him always. In all honesty when our man is our best friend, we talk a lot lol.
First video I ever saw was a DITL when i think Ace was wanting you to tie his shoes and he threw a fit 😂 and the way you handled it (I LOVED) I sent the video to my mom like *COUGH COUGH* notes. Take them.
My only question is, “Are you all simply happy?!” My statements are, “You two are AWESOME parents and people. You have an innate sense, understanding, ability, and sensitivity for loving, rearing, and nurturing children from infancy to becoming loving, caring, intelligent, respectful, responsible teens through to adults. Because you’re instilling in and pouring into each individual child personal values, self worth, a true sense of family, devotion, common sense. You bless and enrich them by being happily surrendered parents and my list goes on... You love them as though they were born out of your love for one another. And that’s truly beautiful and evident!❤️🙏🏽🥰 I know you are all simply happy ecstatic even!!! Continue to be blessed, In Jesus’ Name, Amen 💫

My first video I saw was Why you changed your adopted twins names. You give inspiration to us all who think about foster to adopt. I binged watched for two days just watching your videos. Patiently waiting for the adoption story of Ace and Vey. Thanks for sharing real experiences with real people. Sending love to you and the family. ❣️❣️❣️❣️❣️❣️

However.
Structure+Sternness= Discipline-Character-Integrity-Accountability-Responsibility and etc.

Kids thrive in a disciplined household and being in an interracial upbringing teaches unity among the children.

Your children are so blessed to have such a loving family!! Blessings to you both!
I think you guys are amazing parents. Your Children are blessed to have you both.
Eliyah’s adoption story 🥺 been hooked ever since
Every home has rules. Most homes that neglect rules and every member is allowed to act however they want with no structure at all are likely to raise irresponsible individuals. So yess! I support you guys having your own way of doing things and that shouldn't be seen as strict. How ever inviting God in in helps to maintain balance. You guys are awesome 😍
Wash day natural hair routine!!! Curly hair products!!! Love you guys!!
Love your husband. Lol, He's like "Alright Now" ! The kids have been with you forever. They know their environment. Great Job. Keep doing you!
I’ve been binge watching you guys all day. So much love!
The thing is she isn’t a solo Mum she is married!
First video I ever saw was you showing how to do Eliyahs hair in rope twists 💙
KaniciaBeLike love that video! I’m hooked ❤️
My fish one is "Eliya's wash hair" I love it! by the way I'm a new subscriber
Wow how can you not love this family! I'm hooked and subscribed and following on IG 🙏🏽🖤
I first found you through your what I got my kids for Christmas this year. Then I spent days binge watching and fell in love with your family. I dont miss a video now!!
I love you guys so cute....I always cut off my hubby when he's talking too....cause you know we can just say it better.... Hahahaha🤣
mama Marcano lol - I’m working on that 😆
I always wanna speak for my bf too. Idk! Lol
My fiancé is a Gemini so it's hard to talk over him lol but I do sometimes 😂 especially when he trails off or gets quiet. Bad habit lol but hey, he listens to me and I listen to and respect him always. In all honesty when our man is our best friend, we talk a lot lol.
Ok I gotta say something because I can’t stay quiet but YOU GUYS ARE SO CUTE! I love you guys!
he reminds me of Bruno Mars!
He reminds me of this guy that sang ‘because am happy’n
@@bil2562 the guy that sings Happy is Pharrell and he always wears a hat too. There is a slight resemblance.
Yes, he has a familiar type of look 🙌
First video I ever saw was a DITL when i think Ace was wanting you to tie his shoes and he threw a fit 😂 and the way you handled it (I LOVED) I sent the video to my mom like *COUGH COUGH* notes. Take them.
Tiny Renee 😂😂😂
My only question is, “Are you all simply happy?!”
My statements are, “You two are AWESOME parents and people.
And that’s truly beautiful and evident!❤️🙏🏽🥰
I know you are all simply happy ecstatic even!!!
Continue to be blessed, In Jesus’ Name, Amen 💫
i had seen you in my recommendations for awhile so than i finally clicked on a video which was the "my Sunday routine as a stay at home mom of a large family / how i prep my kis for the week .. and i loved that video so i watched all of your videos back to back till i ran out .. love your channel.

I love how you acknowledge each of your children's special and unique personalities and honor their differences.

I don't know how I stumbled on your channel but your family is delightful. I don't have children, do not want any, but it makes my heart happy that you are making such a great home for your family. Makes me hopeful for the future of the human race:)
