At night, when the public and workers leaves, they all come to life, hang out and catch up on news and current gossip.....
So do the wax figures became the actual people they represent or versions of the people they represent when they come alive? Hmm...
That wax Snowwhite had an IMAX theater forehead.😕
Tah-Tah Nickerson they didn't do her justice for being "the fairest in the land" 😬
Idk you shouldnt be so critical either. Its not easy to make wax figures that look accurate.
i think if they moved her hair more to the front, she'd look fine. she looks like she has a receding hairline lol
My apologies for commenting on such an old video, but I stumbled upon your channel and have gone completely down the rabbit hole watching everything. Just wanted to say thank you for giving us all the ability to travel vicariously during the pandemic. Health and happiness to you and yours, my friend.
This wax museum is very good. The characters resembled the real people very closely, and the displays were appropriate and interesting. All in all, one can give it an 8 out of 10, which is good for a museum such as this. Thanks for the tour.
Timotheus157 it's good😊😊 but it's a little creepy 😣😣😳
The Missing Lovers were not husband and wife; they were killed by the woman's husband for having an affair. Also, I think that second Frankenstein's monster was Herman Munster.
It was a terrible looking and incorrect Herman Munster.
First Frankenstein was modeled after Boris Karloff.
I guess Im asking the wrong place but does anyone know of a trick to log back into an instagram account..?
I was stupid forgot my account password. I love any tips you can offer me.
@Watson Valentin Instablaster =)
@Matias Trevor Thanks so much for your reply. I got to the site thru google and im waiting for the hacking stuff now.
Seems to take quite some time so I will get back to you later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
I remember those Tom Sawyer and Huck Finn, sculpts, from the Mme Tussaude Museum, in Boston, almost 60 years ago...
That's what you call a proper chamber of horrors!
8:10
Dude, that's not your normal Frankenstein's Monster. That's HERMAN MUNSTER. One of my favorite characters on The Munsters... :3
Grab a glass of wine, sit back and enjoy the tour of all these amazing wax museums... thanks so much for the tours.. loved them all!!
LMAO channeling The Woo was the best part of the entire video LOL
This has to be my favorite wax museum. Not much into cekebrities. Major thumbs up. Thank you for the tour. Quality of the wax figures is amazing.
The background music in the beginning makes me want to play Red Dead... :D
Good vlog!! Love wax museums!! You are awesome!!
Outstanding wax museum,CB!!!These models look so lifelike!!!I love seeing places like this!!!Mr Hyde's face was quite creepy!!Some of them appear like they are staring Through you!!!!This vlog is definitely 'in the bag'!!!!
omg as a potterhead, the actual harry potter wax figure was cringe.
Dil Howlter Thank you for understanding my life
Yeah it didn't look very much like Daniel Radcliffe. Maybe they went for book Harry instead of movie Harry?
Happy that you visit NUMEROUS WAX MUSEUMS...MY wife always wants to see them & they can be costly to get in......now I can take her to some of the better ones in the USA.
Awesome ....some really great likenesses in there..,,thanks for sharing
Three words. 'House Of Wax' Some of the presidents looked like they were looking at you.
Nice video, thank you Jacob.
your videos are amazing. you're very charismatic and a great storyteller. I really appreciate what you do.
So cool! They look so real! Thanks for sharing!
You didn't go into the Room with Munsters written on the door. You go a little too fast sometimes, I can't keep up. What camera do you use ?
this was AWESOME Jacob .. 😁
Enjoyed replay thanks 😊
Love the #AdamTheWoo reference at the end. Two thumbs up!
Those are great figures. Some good likenesses there. Thank you for showing us!
Two Frankensteins? It's Herman Munster, dude.
+gregjarnigan1 Herman is a Frankenstein
gregjarnigan1 I was gonna comment this as well
@@TheCarpetbagger Yep, according to the show Bible for The Munsters, Herman was THE Frankenstein creation and Grandpa was THE Count Dracula but retired to suburbia (yeah, clearly someone didn't actually read the classic books but what the whoop)
love your channel
This guy is great! Fun videos.
Excellent video Carpetbagger, i love it when you visit this kind of attraction. very atmospheric place
+Damian Jones These are my favorite sort of places
+The Carpetbagger mine too. :-)
Man that is very awesome wax museum, and the figures look so life like! Really cool place Jacob ,as always a very great job! Thanks for taking me along!
+Lynn Moore Appreciate it!
This has to be the best wax museum I have ever seen !
Hey Carpetbagger, this is a real winner!!!..5 star rating from big fan!!!⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐🎥👏👏
From wikipedia--George L. Potter established the collection in 1948 and the attraction is the first wax museum in the United States.
I just came here today for the first time, and first time seeing a wax museum. They have rearranged a bit of stuff, but alsoa lot of the same. Really great wax museum!
That’s pretty cool, had to laugh when you said it looks like a serial killers basement
That was fascinating and interesting.
Cool place...I'm putting it on my bucket list for sure.
This was so interesting!! I saw a wax museum in Chicago years ago, they are fascinating!!!!
Thanks enjoyed it
That was very cool!
great stuff
Your Arnold impression made me giggle. Thank you for this video.
I love, love St. Augustine!!! And I love the wax museum!
That was a pretty good video. Thanks for uploading. Oh yeah, how did they not know that wounded Abraham was hilarious ? It's a good thing you and I weren't there together. We'd both be rolling on the floor I guarantee. I can hear your wife and Anna belle yelling at us saying how much we're embarassing them. We'd be in so much trouble. But, at the same time be getting such a kick out of it. Oh, you and I would be in the dog house. LOL
+Danny Boy Ha! Yeah, I don't know why it cracks me up so much :)
This was awesome! Thank you so much for bringing us along. I've never been to a wax museum, I'll definitely go now.
"looks like a serial killers basement" LMBO!!
+Amy Warfield Not speaking from experience of course :)
Amy the Twilight Zone?
I love this place! I haven't been to a wax museum in years. Thanks!
+Sarah Black You should head over to Niagra Falls! Its wax museum city
+The Carpetbagger I have a week off from school in August and I was going to go to Letchworth Village and some other places but Im dying to go to a wax museum. Ill take video!
That place has pretty good figures, they look pretty good, compared to some places.
The bad guys from WW2 LOL OMG LMAO!!!
what's funny is I live in down town st.agusting....you should do some of the ghost tours there.
9:44 what was that weird yell/scream? Gave me the goosebumps tbh
Wax Museum=Museo de Cera.👍From ❤️ PERÚ
The second Frankenstein’s monster was Herman Munster!
Great video Jacob! Love the Arnold impersonation at the end, or was it an Adam impersonation? Hehe! Love those wax museums! Keep up the great work!
+Ericka Clements Jacob doing Adam doing Arnold--yes!!
+Ericka Clements Ewww, stick me with a knife. I'll be back.
+Ericka Clements An impersonation of an impersonation...........That may be taking things to far :)
+The Carpetbagger 😂 oh man! But I loved it!
awesome bro.
That looked to be an awesome place. The creep factor seemed to be extremely high as well!
I actually work there in st. Augustine
+Chris WASUP it's an awesome place
You should go to ripleys in St.augustine its really close to potters.
They look very real!!
Liked the video. Please tell me you went to wolf's museum of mystery while there in St Augustine???
+J. M. I sure did! Stay tuned
Class!✌👍
Sim Jackson ? I thought it was Saddam Hussein. The Austin Powers left more to be desired. "Oh my gawd, what is that" ? LOL
+Charles Wilson Peale He may have been a re-purposed Saddam :)
You should do a filming location of Talladega Nights , it was filmed in and around the Charlotta NC area !
+Jessica Young Now that might be fun
That's Jean Harlow at 10:42 😍😍😍 one of my favorite actresses!
omg i would have to get out of there
I think Jefferson Davis's beard slipped 😆
I think the second Frankenstein was actually the Dad from the Munsters
I'm huge fan of The Munsters.
My daughter would have an absolute stroke going there! We've seen too many Twilight Zones etc. Nice video!
Got my vertigo going strong with this video..it was Cloverfield all over again! I had to stop watching before I blew chunks!
Very awesome to see such a old wax museum!! Oh Jacob get the periscope app I think you will enjoy it! It's a good way to connect with your fans!
+Parker Production He's done videos with that app already. :-)
are u ever going to do a periscope broadcast of something? like maybe of an explore?
+Parker Production I am persicope, although I don't use it nearly enough. I'm @JCarpetbagger on periscope. Do you periscope?
+Abandoned Exploration I've done those and uploaded them in the past, but I need to do more
The Carpetbagger I meant that for Parker Production.
9:12 I have that exact statue of yoda size and everything
I visited Potter's in the mid-80's (old location)...while they did have a figure of Elvis, all the rest were historical figures, none of them famous after 1950 ( except for some Presidential figures).
I used to live in St. Augustine
You must have visited when they were on the bayfront
Forrest Gump . . . gotta see Forrest with Jenni. Lol
creepy even before the haunted house neat place to visit
Sigh I missed seeing the Museum last time I was in St Augustine.
The husband was the commander of the fort and supposedly they went missing after some construction and were uncovered many years later.
I think the second Frankenstein's monster was Herman Munster.
I didn't know that this wax museum has Herman Munster from The Munsters.
How did George ruin America ???
Yeah, that comment was strange. Perhaps they could have put Henry Ford and Micheal Richards next to each other for company? And toss in Roseanne and Kevin Spacey? People whose lives were destroyed by bad choices. (I was going to say by "Twitter" but Michael Richards ruined his career long before Twitter came on the scene.)
The guy on the right at 3:21 looked real enough to grab your camera.
Dude, who is the mullet master at 1:14? That is a power mullet. Combined with the 'stache there is no defense. OBEY!!!!
Guys Like Us it' Rhett from good mythical morning !
St. Augustine's heart in his hand: “Thou hast made us for thyself, O Lord, and our heart is restless until it finds its rest in thee.” The heart in his hand symbolizes the restless heart that wishes to be filled by Christ apparently.
11:51 *John Egbert screaming in the distance*
6:24 the background music is the hotel theme from timesplitters future perfect
There was a few characters in there that looked bloody life like..Creepy but wonderful:)
This is the museum's third location..... Did you ever get to visit it's original location on the bayfront? It used to take up most of the first floor
I did not
Sounded like Marilyn Manson's Sweet Dreams song playing in the hall of horrors
Did the sorting hat tell you your house? (its been forever since Ive seen Harry Potter)
8:13 Herman Munster!!!!
When you coming to virginia ?
Bring adam the woo along i think you would enjoy presidents park in williamsburg
They weren't heads Carpetbagger, especially Nicholas Cage and John Travolta and what not I love them
I like this
7:12 *Sayori’s father*
The quality of the wax figures' faces seem higher quality the longer ago they were made. They are all really good though.
Mr. Kouger doesn't scare me in fact once a month he pays me a not so friendly four-day visit so by now he isn't scary just a pain to me
Mr kouger had nightmares about me.
I would like to see an abandoned wax museum or some abandoned wax museum figures to see how well they stand up from the seasonal weather and neglect. Would Marilyn Monroe's endowments resist the ravages of gravity over time? Would she develop mud flaps?
+The Carpetbagger Like King Tut's grandma.
some of them looked stoned out of their minds lol!
It might be oldest but only modern kept up. I miss vintage with no celibrities
very nice figures, but the museum is too bright and loud, I like when wax museums are quiet and dimly lit, we had one in new Orleans, but they sold the property to build condos.
