My self Jack & Good friend Scotty from saltfix fishing head out armed with a couple top water lures, it doesn’t take long to find the school of kings and we are straight into them!

Cheers Paul, if it wasn’t for the wind this 100% would have been an all time session. Soon as we pulled up kings where everywhere and some really big models. It just didn’t feel all that safe though so we bailed after a couple casts still an epic morning though king 👑 ✅😎
Pound for pound best fish all round I reckon. Always put up a good scrap an a awesome table fish
Griggsy! Epic fish alright - not a fish that’s targeted in Perth very often ( kings only seem to want to play in sketchy areas haha ) but your not wrong they are a crazy fish. We spotted a couple waay bigger ones this morning also, they are there just hard to catch but one day I’ll connect with a biiig top water king. Cheers for watching bro!!

Cheers man! Such epic fish they are. We seen some way bigger ones as well but models this size seem hungrier then the big dogs haha. We couldn’t stay long wind was a bit sketchy & some times ya just got to bail, could have easily been the best sesh on them yet though if the wind had of dropped haha 😂 either way an awesome morning 👍🏻✅

Great catch again. I'm yet to hook up to my first Kingfish. After spending many years in Japan that's the first time I've seen 'Sashimi" done like that 😁 I still would have given it a try!
Hey mate 👋 cheers for watching!! Good luck with the kings man they truly are a special fish, even at that size they just go so hard, and in the shallows it just makes it so exciting!! Haha I was waiting for someone to give me a bit of stick about it, that’s how we often make salmon on crackers at home so I figured I’d give it a go with somthing I catch. It was delicious but wouldn’t compare to what they are doing in Japan haha 😂 👍🏻

Damn that kingfish flesh looked so good to try like that. I have fond memories of catching my first one at Narooma nsw on 15lb line it went damn hard!. I can't wait to go back there in November/ December this year first time in over 15 years!.
I must try one sashimi with kewpie mayo and pearl river bridge soy sauce both can be found at woollies.
You two are killing it less brake offs and more landed fish in the boat awsome! Its really been good to watch you both learn and get better.
Hey mate 👋 the king fish flesh truly was beautiful, delicious raw & also I fried some when I got home an made fish an chips for the family, zero complaints haha 👍🏻 good luck for November mate & hope you get into a couple they truly are a special fish! Also appreciate the on going support, truly helps a little channel keep ticking along 😎 we certainly have learnt a lot over the past few years but still learning plenty every time we hit the water ✅🐟😎🍺

Use longer knife strokes and it'll cut better. Ideally you don't want to change direction, cut in one move.
For the record @Saltfix, I have a vid where I gave my son sashimi on the kayak, he said it was good for the camera, but the moment I stopped recording he spat it out! 😂😂
Hey mate 👋 haha yes wasn’t my best attempt at cutting a chuck out of that king but we got there 😎😅 hahaha Scott didn’t spit it out, but he didn’t eat a huge amount of it either 😂 for me it was actually really yum I ended up eating a fair portion of that fish raw & was very enjoyable 😎👍🏻✅
