Thanks for the tips. Very nice workflow.
Thank you, I feel more confident I can learn this with your videos. High quality info, Thank you!
Thanks for the video!
This music is an 8 bit version of The Impact Site from Pikmin, nice.
EDIT: Actually the Forest of Hope.
This is amazing, thank you for making this and sharing!
This was very helpful. I'm working on my first comic commission and I'm a little bit nervous on the outcome. So thank you for sharing your tips! This helped my mind be more at ease.
This looks so awesome, but not only do I suck at grasping story elements for my comics, I also suck with the basics of photoshop xD
How do you gain future insight of what your page is going to look like? I cant see how mine looks later on, and I feel like it clutters the page, or that the scenario continues onto the next page, lessening the interest and impact of the situation for the reader.
+Princess Lucina Great question! Do you typically thumbnail out your page? Small sketches to build out what you're hoping the page can look like helps in planning so that the final page isn't too imbalanced.
Thank you for this advice haha
Also another qq, how many layers on average do you use for your pages? I try to keep mine as minimal as possible, yet every professional artist I see out there uses *so* many layers...
Can we get other variation of manga/comic panel more than just rectangular please?
I notice you don't do the sketch 1st then add paint. Does doing the paint 1st than adding the pencil lines really work better?
Wow you are so great at doing this O..O
I just came up with an idea today but it is always hard to do it.
I really wanna give it a try and u sure made it easier to understand :)
Thanks for this video ♥
I may have missed the answer to this question during the video, but I was curious as to what ppi resolution you work under when you're doing your line (ink) art? You generally hear about 300 ppi being a standard resolution to work with, or maybe even 400.
this is so interesting and helpful I wish it had more views. Please make more videos like this!!
Thank you, I will try to! It's becoming extremely difficult for me to afford creating these videos, but Patreon is a great way to see them continue!
to sketch out the panels did you use a mouse or a drawing pad? thank you
so when I make the grey boxes for the comic panels, every color i apply over it seems to be way brighter. it doesn't seem to cause issues for you though. is there a setting I just missed...?
Mateeeeeeee, where did you get your colour pallet?
Please make more videos like this!!!!!
Awesome, will do! Great name too :D
Great video.... But I have a question you make figures by mouse or touch screen ?
Hi there, as I've mentioned in other questions, I use any type of pen tablet for drawing, previously a Wacom tablet and currently an iPad Pro.
Brookes Eggleston - Character Design Forge thanks
Great content! How do you get your line art so damn smooth? Is that a downloaded brush?
So no one draws pages anymore?
How can we get these color swatches? :o
best tutorial thanks :D
Why is it so difficult to find any information on the resolution settings for making comics in Photoshop?
I'm really not asking for much here
I detailed resolution information in this video I believe. Otherwise I assure you any omission of detail was not a personal afront to you
you use mac?
only $375 for rent?? i wanna live where she’s living
Right?! She was definitely splitting that with a few roomies
Thanks... From Chile
Youre very welcome! Much newer art for this page in the Let’s Make A Comic playlist on my page!
Is this timelapsed?
Yes, this is sped up about 10x. It'd be a very long video otherwise!
Do you use a mouse?
+Husien Hammad No, I'm using a Wacom Cintiq
Adding text like that is the old EC Style.
nice
Thanks! :D
No offense, but the timelapse during your explanation is too fast that I can't follow the steps properly
So fast
AN heS TH reveal
Sorry Im not understanding your comments
The background music in this is really distracting
