I know I got it very expensive, And this car had traveled one and a half lakh kilometres.After driving it, it felt as if I had not made any mistake and my decision was absolutely right.

I had seen the etios liva 2016 model(red and black dual tone) on a pre-owned car platform. It is a VX variant 1st owner and the car has completed 86,000 km.
The asking price is 4.6 lakhs but the owner is not willing to go below 4.3 lakhs. I would like to know whether the price is justified ?
Also how is the exterior metal sheet quality of etios liva, have heard that the metal sheet used in etios sedan (big brother of liva) is a bit flimsy.
I think 3.8L-4L would be a good deal. Depending on the condition of the car and other important factors. My friend got a 2015 model for 3.6L last year.
Also, what you heard about the exterior metal sheet of the sedan is somewhat true. But, not as bad as a maruti.

I am a new driver, completed my 24 day driving classes a month ago (30 min session each day) but since the sessions are too short I'm still not confident of my driving skills. The guys at the driving school are insisting to get the driving licence test done at the earliest.
Should I buy a second hand car and practice on it better and then attend the driving test or should I practice driving on my relatives car by paying the fuel price.
To again go back to the driving class for some extra classes will cost me more. They charge 350 Rs for 30 minute session.
Also according to you which would be a better car for new driver, listing out some of the second hand cars I had gone through on OLX.

Hi Vaibhav,
I would suggest practicing with your relative's car and then go for the test. After few months you can get your own, since you will be more comfortable and confident while driving.
However, one thing to note- Since you are a newbee, you may have to change the clutch plate sooner.
Regarding the car, please avoid 2nd owner's car. Also avoid sedans, since you are learning, maneuvering a sedan can be a task and maintenance of Honda City will be on a higher side.
Apart from that, first priority would be Etios Liva (practical, low maintenance and Toyota's reliability).
Second can be the i10 1st owner (if available)
