Shalom Jeanette. Great video. 1. Please show how to use conditioner. 2. Instructions say to give it 1 or 2 click in the gun before mixing. If I am wrong please let me know.
You can see the conditioner step in some of my other videos. You just apply it with a microbrush for 10 seconds and then rinse it off. You may have older capsules or a different brand, but GC for capsules in the US the eliminated the need to click in the gun prior to mixing a few year ago.
you're welcome! I do not have an answer on the primer... I know you can use EQUIA Coat or Fuji coat, so I imagine any unfilled resin would work potentially. Do not get any resin between the EQUIA and enamel/dentin, however!! No bonding agent
Great video. A couple of questions . 1. After you adjust the bite do you place equia coat again? 2. Can you use standard etchant for 10 sec. instead of the conditioner?
1). I typically don't reapply the coat after adjusting, but you could. 2). DO NOT used 37% phosphoric acid etch! It will strip all the minerals you're trying to free up for the chemical bond. Only use 20% polyacrylic acid cavity conditioner.
Best video for GIC , love it , but I have a small question, do we do the polishing first then apply the coat ,? Then after apply the coat , we should light cure , isn’t?
great video! doesn't the equia coat have to be cured, if so then what happens if you have used SDF under? also, what is the other band called you used with the garisson, not the the kidney bean shape, the other one?
The other band is a Denovo band. Yes, you cure the coat, you may have missed that part if you didn’t watch all the way through. I don’t normally apply SDF the same day as placing a restoration, because it’s not necessary and would stain it.
Iam still astudent and my first language is not the english can you write all the steps during vedio plz? I loved your work and i will follow all the next vedio .. Plz write all steps in the vedio to understand well
Great video. Is it ok to place gluma after you use the cavity conditioner. I would place gluma for 2 one minute intervals then use the HVE to get off any excess gluma. I eould do this in between the cavity conditioner and placing the equia forte 14:12
I use it in my practice. Works well. Ensure u give it time to harden before you pack it.

Amazing video!
Is it necessary to use isolation with rubber dam when your work with Equia Forte?
Thank you! You can, but you do not need to use a rubber dam, which is another great benefit of the material
I guess I am kinda randomly asking but does anyone know a good site to stream newly released series online ?
@Avi Skylar Flixportal =)
@Karsyn Anders Thanks, I signed up and it seems like a nice service :) Appreciate it !!
@Avi Skylar no problem =)

I apply coat and cure it while the GIC is still setting and check and adjust the occlusion after

is conditioning glass ionomer a necessity or an option ? and what is the use of coat ?
Don’t skip the conditioner but you can skip the coat

It’s not necessary. The conditioner & EQUIA alone desensitize the tooth
