For TDs, idk that its better overall dps compared to bandos/crystal swap, but it more chill to use mixed hide there, and the stab bonus is real when I was doing dps sims (and I had bandos for that), and I appreciated the inventory space

I know this is hindsight, but you could've done perilous moons for blood moon legs which are a sidegrade to tassets. Blood moon is extremely good right now and makes Hueycoatl a lot more efficient to do along with a few other bosses. Ultimately the tassets will be very good for the defence they provide when farming most content. Best of luck on the various boss grinds ahead!
Edit: I recommend always checking dps calcs before farming a boss long term with the various weapons you have with and without a DWH hit. For me Araxxor was fastest with a saeldor on my iron with 1 dwh hit, beating every crush weapon I had. It looks like noxious halberd will probably beat zombie axe for you at araxxor even without 1 DWH hit. With 1 DWH it, it probably wins by 0.4 dps or more.

i just went 1150 bandos kills without tassets... got it 1147. 1148 was my 5th pair of boots. one hilt, two chestplates. Your luck was insane minus the tassies part, but you weren't alone!

Jcw I feel you! It took me 1900 to get my tassets. 5 bcp, 5 boots, 3 hilts. Gz!
Best part is once I got the drop I proceeded to get chanced about 3 times before picking them up. The alternate universe where I died on those chances still haunt me.

I just did the Bandos grind on my iron and the same thing happened to me but with bcp. Got 6 Tassets, 3 boots and 1 hilt before getting bcp around 850 kc
