Mrs Lara looks like a twin or doppelgaenger to Marlene Knaus / Lauda. While I do not know about the reasons, it seems strange that the real Mrs. Lauda was never consulted for the movie. Same could be said about Susan Miller, James Hunt's wife. And I do not quite buy the presentation of both women as the oh so nice people who tried to save their relationships with Marlene ultimately supporting Nicki's return into the cockpit and Suzy being de facto chased away by James' erratic behaviors after trying hard to save their marriage. Both were socialites, and Marlene made quite a bit of money divorcing Nicki while Suzy married Richard Burton and is known for her jealous attics during their marriage. These relationships may be a niche in the complexity of the movie but could have shown the audience a more complete picture of the F1 culture and lifestyle during these years. Overall "RUSH" is one of the most underrated films ever made. Despite my critique with regards to the portrayal of the 2 women it is a great movie and would have deserved much greater accolades.
