never even see this woman before in my life, shows how powerful the 2 party system is
Agreed. Let's hope to see more options than 2 sides of the same coin, eh?
Totally understand. She should be on every tv show, already 8 yrs ago.
I'm from New England and I'm voting for Jill Stein
If Bernie is not a candidate, I'll vote for Jill.
+MrGeno1951 #Jill2016
I agree!!!
+The Truth Hurts Currently, Hillary is tied with Trump in the average of recent polls for the general election. I have serious doubts that she does in fact "got this".
+The Truth Hurts I again ask you to look at the recent polling data. RealClearPolitics average of the last 6 polls: Trump 43.4, Clinton 43.2. It turns out she may actually need that '3%' if she wants to win. Your username is quite fitting if you continue to ignore the polls.
Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha
Yeah ok that's why you corporate groupie is conceding. Just remember bush stole the 2000 election with 500 votes. Your wall street junkie is losing in Ohio and at a statistical tie in in Florida and Pennsylvania. #HillaryDoesn'tHaveShit #BernieOrBust #LaughingAtHerConcession to donald dump!!
Jill stein!! You just earned my vote if bernie loses.
Your picture is terrifying but I agree with your statement lol
Have you even read about her political stance?
shima yes, of course. How could I declare I will vote for someone without knowing what i was really voting for.
I can not say I do. made a mistake of reviewing every single one .should of waited..now I know ALL about how bad our Senator Rubio is... worst record NO SHOW he's with POTUS in another country right now...Marco..............POLO oh there he isn't in the senate...
Damn, why isn't she President?
Jill Stein would be the greatest first woman president ever.
yes yes yes yes yes
Yes you are correct she is the paradigm America needs as too does our world too!
Green Party needs to on the ballot in 50 states
How can we do that?
Suing the states that don't
I remember seeing a petition somewhere. If you go to her home page, you can find out a lot of how to help her campaign.
www.jill2016.com/ballot_access
explosu yeah, that's it. Spread it around as much as possible, especially if Sanders doesn't get the nomination, triply so if they appoint Biden.
Facts she is spot on and doesn't sound rehearsed like Shillary I'd definitely vote for her after Bernie
+crooked52h
check out the website. her plans are so much better than Hillary.
same
HELL YES!
JELL STEIN FOR PRESIDENT 2016!
Bravo Jill....I voted Green Party in 2012.....you continue to have my support in 2016.
Let's break the same old, same old, stranglehold of the archaic two-party system !
Observer Jules
Way to go JIll Stein! I'm voting for you and/or Bernie because both of you are standing up and fighting back! #ImWithHerNotHillary
Rise Greens and Libertarians to replace Corporatists parties.
Would we then end up in the same place as before
Instead Greens and Libertarians as well as constitutional should rise up to overwhelm both major parties but leave them still alive so we do not end up in the same place and instead have 4 or more parties :D
Honestly there shouldn't be political parties just candidates with specific policies.
America has become too big and diverse to just have two parties anyway the way i see it and considering that both parties are bought off by corporations
All parties rise up
Isn't she wonderful? Her in a debate with Hitlary and Drumpf would be a slaughterfest.
Ya, they could just attack her for her support of reparations for slavery and that would be the end of her chances.
I didn't know anything about this woman until I saw this video! This speaks volume about how the media only shows us what they want us to know. I haven't heard about her at all, not even in TYT that I thought gave us better information. They talk a lot about Bernie but I would've loved to learn about her before. I truly think that Trump nor Hillary deserve the vote of the people. They are both horrible choices.
They've had her on TYT a couple times but I agree, I wish they'd talk about her more.
If sanders loses, which I pray he does not, but if he does, he should endorse this woman, because although Hillary is not awful, she's still not tge best choice.
Hillary is pretty bad...
I agree Hillary is bad (not awful but bad), and most likely niether Jill Stein nor Bernie Sanders will go onto become president, but think about this:
There was poll that came out that said something along the lines of 45% of Bernie Sanders supporters say that they'll vote for Trump over Hillary in the general election. Think about that, people who voted for a brilliant man who unfortunately lost to a famous woman, are willing to vote for a deranged scatterbrained moronic perverted lunatic, just because they're mad at the famous woman. I'm mad too that Bernie went up a against a rigged system and lost and up until recently I thought it would be funny to see a trump presidency, but think about if he won. Even if he managed to just impliment a fraction of what he says he will, we'll still have a Republican congress and a 'republican' president. Think about all the minorities and low income people who will be effected by this. Would you really want that as opposed to a Clinton presidency.
Another thing I'd like to point out. At one point someone asked Sanders, at a town hall I believe, what if he lost. Instead of turning down the question like most canidates would, he said that was a fantastic question, and went on to talk about how when he started the campaign, he wanted two thibgs, one was to become president and the other was to start a political revolution. He has managed, in my personal opinion, to accomplish the latter, however, he can add on to that by endorsing Jill Stien. Think about it. By doing this one simple thing he will salmon certainly force the media to focus on America's ridiculous two party system, and this will also give the green party a chance to have an audience to voice their beliefes too.
In conclusion. I encourage you to, this election season, either vote Clinton, or vote Stien, but whatever you do, do t vote for Trump. Please.
***** Listen, Hillary Clinton isn't a great choice for president. For one, yes I agree to some extent that she is in wall street's back pocket, and that will most likely effect her economic decisions, and I don't like the fact that she took so much time to come out against the TPP and Keystone XL. Plus David Petraeus, a man so stupid he suggested arming AL QAEDA to fight ISIS, said she would make a tremendous president.
But let's get something straight I don't think that she's making secret deals with wall street and that she'll wreck the environment and corrupt our government. And also, Trump is a blithering idiot! I know Clinton is bad, but Trump is at least 100 times worse. It seems everyday now that something bad about Trump comes out. I mean, up until very recently (about 11 months ago to be exact when he said Bill Clinton was the best president of the last 25 years) Trump was saying great things about Bill Clinton, and now look, he's saying things like he's 'The worst abuser of women in the history of the presidency' and that 'Hillary Clinton was an enabler. He's saying that we shouldn't rule out nuclear weapons in EUROPE. I mean honestly, anyone who votes for Trump to keep out Hillary is just mindless.
Clinton is awful.
Florence Dott Trump is worse.

She is my write in for 2016. So glad she's getting some air on this channel.
I love Jill and will vote for "the greater good."
Finally she gets some love. Jill Stein is a woman of principle and foresight.
We are now going to vote for Jill Stein and have thrown our support behind her. Bernie shouldn't have said, "Hillary will make a great President." That soured in our mouths like milk. Bernie Sanders supporters for Jill Stein for President, 2016.
Jill is AWESOME! #ImWithJill
I was a Bernie or Buster...now I'm for Jill. She is the ONLY logical choice for me! Jill Stein 2016
Vote Jill Stein for achieving real peace in this world.
Yup, that's very true. Well said 🎉
Guys, 15,000 views is pathetic for this video! Share the fuck out of this on social media! I'm Canadian and I'm doing it! Bernie supporters, if he doesn't run, support Jill and donate $27!!!!!
I just voted thumbs up and changed the tally from 1950 to 1951, Jill's birth year and mine.
I'm glad I voted for her!
WTF, why haven't I heard of Jill Stein and the Green Party until now???? She is awesome!! :D
Why am I barely hearing of Stein now...
Jill Stein is working hard. Let's stand with her.
Excellent. Want a REAL change? Vote Green Party.
#ImWithJill
Sanders/Stein 2016
there's actually a petition for that Green ticket...
Just a little quibble w
the title- The 2 party system isn't broken;
It's working great! -for
the rich ruling class.
WE NEED TO BREAK IT! Build the (non-corporate) Green Party!
I know it's unfair that the first thing one seems notice about some women is their beauty. But, that close up blew me away, she really is naturally pretty. As they say "some people have the brains and the looks" and she is one of them.
There are many systems with more than just two parties which are also broken. It's just more obvious when there are just two parties.
A Sanders/Stein ticket would be epic!
Excellent video - short, sweet, and to the point. Thank you Jill Stein, and thank you AJ+ for sharing this. #steinbaraka2016
This needs millions of views. Personally, I'm voting for Gary Johnson in November.
If the Democrats decide that Trump should be elected, I will vote for Jill Stein.
It is quite sad that the american political system is basically limited to two parties and that a strong woman like Jill Stein with the ambition to really make profound changes for the benefit of the people hardly has a chance to be elected president, because the media are all over Trump/Clinton and they are backed by large companies whose interests they serve.
Get it girl
The only chance we got is "the people UNITED cannot be defeated!" The 99% must come together in an alternative movement campaign for President, and also run folks for Congress who are not minions for the Wall Street two-Party crap trap. I strongly suggest that Jill Stein and the Green Party form a coalition with Gary Johnson and the Libertarian Party and call on all the issue groups from left to right to work together to move our Nation forward! The people divided will ALWAYS be defeated...
Who's here because of the no Hillary indictment? I am JillStein2016!!!
Sanders Stein 2016
She deserves to be the first female president instead of hilary!
BEST CHOICE WE HAVE IS JILL.
Jill Stein happens to be the archetype for future campaigns
We love Bernie and Jill! #JillOverHill #BernieOrJill
There is still a huge delegate count until July but if certain candidate that barely got any press compared to the others doesn't get it, going Green for Jill Stein!
"We need to have opposition voices, and parties." Okay then actually show you can win major races, not just the occasional state legislature race. I mean gain more than 2 to 3 percent in a few major races.
You go Jill! #ItsInOurHands
I'm still with Gary Johnson.
I'm still with Pat Paulsen.
Jill offered to be Bernie's VP if he decided to run on the Green ticket. Interesting prospect.
Gary Johnson 2016
Jill for president!!!!!!!
1% in national polls! We are on our way Jill!
Dr. Stein speaks the Truth!
I am really tired of these comments:
"Voting third party is a wasted vote.""Voting third party is a protest vote and is unrealistic and immature.""Third party won't win anyway. Choose the candidate that could win that is better (or the lesser evil)""Voting third party steals votes away and causes a candidate to lose to another!"
There is no such thing as a wasted vote. Voting for the candidate that sides with your values the most is the only logical choice. A choice that if more people made would drastically change our election process and therefore the nation. It's not unrealistic. It's very much possible but it becomes more difficult due to this mentality against the third party. Reports have shown that people side with third party politicians more often which goes to show you how realistic it actually is. The lesser evil could be the same evil. People that vote third party usually don't vote for the two party system therefore no vote is "stolen away". Many that support Bernie usually support third party politicians; He is basically a third party candidate making it into the two party system. Voting third party changes the political discussion in this country. I'd go so far as to say that it is responsible for Bernies rise and to force the two party system to acknowledge third party values and therefore the peoples values.
Vote third party.
Could not agree more
Beautiful English 👏
I'm not voting for Jill. But she did preach in Thai video
hahahahahahahaa I love you Jill!
Get rid of First Past the Post voting.
bernie should be leader of green party.
She is totally inspiring and amazing !!! i hope that more people would know and vote for her

the easiest way (and it is very easy) to stop the two-party system would be to give every voter (and delegate) two votes instead of one, with a stipulation that, for a valid ballot, both votes must be used and the votes must be for different candidates.
this would separate the parties from the delegates which i think is a huge benefit. it is one thing to have a party endorsing candidates and a completely different thing to have the parties controlling the delegates' votes based upon the party they have affiliated with. ideally, the delegates that we choose to represent us when electing a new president among the various party-endorsed candidates in the general elections would be different from the delegates used to choose the primary candidates for the various parties. the parties should be rather limited to endorsing/supporting/promoting candidates and that should not extend to selecting the president among the various parties' candidates.
two votes would force people to vote on issues and attributes rather than team lines. right now people are pressured to choose one side or the other because of the default binary party system. requiring people to select two candidates would force people to look outside the party to which they feel pressured to support. it would encourage people to really research the candidates. this would empower the voters to also select the candidate they really like in addition to the one they are pressured to vote for. this would give third parties an immediate boost because voters would not often cast for both republican and democrat, rather they are more likely to vote for republican and libertarian or democrat and libertarian or democrat and green or libertarian and green or ... also the number of third parties would increase making each party more focused on a few issues instead of taking a stance on every issue thereby removing the power and necessity from the parties to force voters to support things they don't care about or to accept things that they oppose.
because the voter selects two candidates, all voters will have two acceptable candidates. if either of the selected candidates wins, the voter would be satisfied as if they also win. e.g, if you go into the n.f.l playoffs betting on two teams you will have double the chance of being satisfied by the outcome. if everyone else also chooses two teams you will find that you have common ground with many more people. supposing you chose packers and broncos you would have something in common with all those who chose both the packers and broncos and either the packers and any other team and those who chose the broncos and any other team. the likelihood and severity of social unrest, with two choices, drops precipitously.
today we see the opposition party as the enemy because of the binary nature of the elections. with two votes we would have by necessity more compromise/cooperation and national cohesion.
PREACH
What does "the right to a job" mean? You cannot force companies to hire someone, so there's no such thing as "a right to a job". You work to deserve a job, it's not given, and thus not a right.
I LOVE JILL!
I am so shocked as a european, how this system works
We work with coalitions
Beautiful.
Good grief Iove her
Vote for Jill America, a credible candidate
Terrific -- Imagine that we could have Jill Stein in place of Killery/Billery.The Jill Stein/Green Party platform is even better than Bernie's --but I do hope that Bernie will follow his conscience and not the Dem Partyand run as a Green. We need some real feminists in the White House -- !!
She doesn't mention it in the video, but perhaps the most effective way of accomplishing this goal would be to implement instant runoff voting nationwide-something which neither party would be interested in
She speaks the truth to bad it is way to late for that this nation is OVER!
cannot agree more. Politics and big businesses are monopolized by 2-party (undemocratic) system and big money corporations to discourage good changes to fairly allow people to have equal opportunities to wealth distribution, (right) education, and running their (small) businesses.
We need to continue to foster free ideas and thinking to our kids and people without suppressing/reprogramming them...We also need to change our education system for profit and waste time/debt (on student part).
It will be great to have Green and other independent,, socialist parties to work together as an coalition so we have more leverage and media time to voice our agendas which most people now want the changes. Hope it come sooner as time is precious.
Vote Green in 2016. Jill Stein for President.
She is right.
The two-party system is an inevitable byproduct of the way we elect our politicians. Winner-take-all or first-past-the-post elections tend to inspire strategic voting which causes the system to trend toward two-party rule. To fix this problem, we would need to switch to a proportional or a system of multi-member districts.
Oh, and I thought this was going to be about Duverger's law
Aside from the political comments, did anyone think of Grindelwald when she mentioned the "greater good"? Dumbledore for president.
Jill Stein!
OK, but if no candidate achieves 270 electoral votes for President then the House of Representatives picks the President. So, we need a system that can handle multiple parties. If we can achieve that in a State then we can get the ball rolling on this.
There is always a path to true freedom and happiness. Another one is opening right before our very eyes. Should Bernie's campaign lose momentum, this is the woman that I'd be with.
Not because "I'm with her" but because "I'm with her policy positions"
We as smart and capable individuals need to keep a look out for the political landscape. Bernie or Jill. These are our two paths.
Contemplating voting independent.
Gary Johnson is way better vote for him
The UK is a two party system in all but name. Parties like the SNP, UKIP, the Lib Dems and the Greens are given the illusion of having any effect on policy in parliament but the first past the post system effectively ensures the Tories and Labour are the only two parties with any chance, both of which are so diluted and Laissez-faire towards the promises in their manifestos that it's difficult to argue that there would be any difference between a Labour or Tory government.
+Tim O'Donnell As opposed to the US system which is very blatant about its two party nature. At least in US politics there isn't this problem of condescension to the 'lesser parties' or the shockingly unrepresentative farce that is the general election.
It varies where you live in the UK. The Scottish voting system here is different which allows parties such as the Greens and Lib Dems to gain seats without being heavily underrepresented. The British system needs a change though - UKIP got 13% if all votes cast in the general election yet only one seat, and that is not in any way a true reflection of the views of voters
thats why I'm a socialist/communist. aside our vote won't really matter until the electoral college is no longer responsible for getting the person in the white house, but instead the popular vote.
Stein&Sanders 💙
Go Jill!
#Jill2016
Ditto, if Bernie is not on the ballot I'll vote for her also
Jill is the only reasonable candidate
Let's chill with the Jill.
She needs to be Bernie's VP. She is the female variant of Bernie and I always loved the discussions she engages in. If Bernie loses, I'll happily vote for Jill Stein over the corporate sell out named Hillary Clinton.
