Hey, I've been enjoying all your videos on the blade of chaos and wanted to ask you a few questions about it. Is there a reason for the t6 lightning dmg on the blade or is it just an unlucky slam? (Cause your lethal skill isn't converted) Another question is what is the reason to take shift guaranteed to crit next skill? (Spending 7 skill points on the path) Other than that great videos and keep it up 👍
Thank you! Yup lightning dmg is just unlucky slam or rather I assumed for some reason that flat lightning would be converted. Still, some flat is better than no flat (my previous 2LP was slow + armor shred chance). Guaranteed crit after shift with high CDR adds a nice bit of burst to every other mirage cast, and even though we're not scaling mirage damage much through the skill tree, personally I feel that it helps both with monolith clear and stunning bosses. You can of course go for e.g. cleanse on shift instead (I was using in some of the earlier videos).
have you considered Thorn Slinger, Shattered Chains or another Unique belt for this build? I'm trying this build and was wondering what could be improved. I've been liking it so far, nice build =]
Yup shattered chains is probably the most obvious upgrade path with %more dmg on doom stacks, if you can be bothered farming for 2LP. Thorn Slinger or Jungle Queen's would also work if you get lucky with 3LP+ but not a major upgrade over a good exalted. Communion of the Erased could be very good as well but you need to get really lucky with the rolls.
Would you be willing to share your thoughts on why you Chose to do Phys-SD versus the lightning-LM setup? Did you try both and maybe find better results with SD?
I saw Hachadino's lightning LM videos when working on this one and while the single-target damage that build dealt was respectable, mapping felt slower and I didn't enjoy the piano combo-based nature of the playstyle. I also started the season with a normal SD bladedancer so my variant felt like a natural progression, with lightning LM I'd have to get a brand new set of gear.

@@Irufuu Haha, I wouldn't say I'm achieving anything with this build. Your's is much more impressive than mine. I'm barely doing 300. I'm still missing CD on Stymied boots, and Belt, so I can't shift much. Having trouble getting a T6 LM chest too, so I'm just bare bones.
Mine is very strict, I would recommend downloading a standard rogue filter then emphasizing +Lethal Mirage, additional mirages/mana efficiency on Lethal Mirage, and Physical Penetration on Shadow Daggers mods for starters, then adjust from there.

@@Count_Virgil T6+ LM chest is far more important than CDR I'd say, so definitely prioritize that, the build becomes much smoother with it.

Can you level with this? Or yoy need all ur gears first lol
You need the sword and penumbras to play LM+SD, everything else is optional. I'd suggest starting with a standard dual-wield shadow dagger build.
