I was going to make another lesson on the channel... but felt more inspired to create something. To have fun and feed off of the energy of the music.
That's what I needed today, and sometimes, that's what it's all about!
It's not entire ambient, not entirely post-rock. Touches of grunge or shoegaze. Hard to describe, but fun to write and perform!

Thanks Antoine! How's the beep with the Aeros going? Any news? I also have one, found the beep but doesn't seem to bother me a lot, but a bit... ;)
I'm not supposed to say anything for now (they're still working the kinks), but I've been a closed beta tester and all I can say is that things are looking good for a full fix soon :-)
Singular Sound has a new firmware in beta testing that supposedly corrects the pop at loop seams. I have not tested it yet myself but it looks very promising. Plus a bunch of cool new features.
Looks like you might be using the new Aeros firmware for the one-shot cymbal crash at 3:38. Is that correct?
The cymbal was added in post and does not come from the Aeros. I just felt it needed a little lead in to the climax while relistening to the recording afterwards!

Antoine, how do you deal with the fact that the melody of this track has a vibe of so many ad's,intro's to some lame gaming events and all. I like this kind of melody because it makes people uplifted and happy, I wanna spread it. But the problem is that it sounds so wack and lame that I wanna break my guitar from shame how lame this sounds! haha.
