  • Videos Shot around low tide at Captain Sams Inlet during my shift as a volunteer for the Lowcountry Marine Mammal Network. Multiple strand feedings and a lot of visual evidence of how "in tune" the brown pelicans are to the feeding patterns of our local strand feeding dolphins. They can frequently predict 60 - 90 seconds in advance where the dolphins will strand, as the video shows.
Local dolphins featured in this video include KoKo, Step, Hook, Times Three and Small Nick.
