‏كالعيدِ أَرانا طَلْعَتَهُ
ربٌّ قد أَبدعَ مَنْبَتَهُ
Like Eid he showed us his appearance.
My Lord has uniquely created him
مَولودٌ أَبْهجَ مَنزِلَنا
و قلوبٌ تاقَتْ رؤيتَهُ
A new born who has enlightened our home.
Whilst the hearts yearn to see him
هوَ (يوسفَ) أَسميناهُ عسى
أنْ يُحسِنَ ربِّي سِيرَتَهُ
He (Yusuf) we have named him, Perhaps
My Lord will make his life Good.
أنْ يُسْعِدَ هذا البيتَ بِهِ
دَومًا و لْيُسعِد إخوتَهُ
That he (Allah) may make always fortunate this home through him.
And may he make fortunate his brother's.
سَبقتْهُ بمَولدِها (ريمٌ)
و بها أُختًا يا حُظوَتَهُ
He was preceded by the birth of (Reem)
As a sister to him, how fortunate he is.
كم زادَتْ أَنفُسُنا فَرَحاً
فَأَدِمْ يا ربِّي فرحتَهُ
How our souls were made happy.
So oh my Lord make forever his joy and happiness.
بارِكْ مَقْدَمَهُ و ارزقْنا
بِرًّا .. كُنْ أنتَ مَعِيَّتَهُ
Oh Allah make blessed his arrival, and grant us
Obediance, you be with him.
مرحَى بكَ يوسفُ يا مَرحى
للبيتِ غدَوتَ هَدِيَّتَهُ
Welcome to you oh Yusuf welcome
You became the gift for the house.
والدارُ بِوجهِكَ مُحتَفلٌ
أَضْفَيتَ بِحُسنِكَ مُتْعتَهُ
The house is celebrating with you
You increased its happiness with your Beauty.
حَمداً للهِ على هِبَةٍ
هَلَّتْ و أفاضَتْ نِعمتَهُ
Praises for Allah upon the gift
Which has appeared and for bestowing his Blessings.
نَسأَلُهُ الخيرَ ونرجو أنْ
نسكنَ في الأُخرى جَنَّتَهُ
We ask him for Goodness and hope that
We will reside in his Paradise in the hereafter.
