2008 player here. :( I gotta say, I miss the old wiz. I have phases where I log off for years and come back and catch up on things, and this was that time, and all I've been hearing is how bad it's gotten. Breaks my heart.
watched your video on ice wizards, and i agree that ice is in a terrible spot. I do however think the devs are trying to do the old break them and then build them back up thing. they keep increasing defensive points on ice while decreasing attack. I know im new to the game but thats what i think. keep up the vids i look forward to hearing your opinions on the game
appreciate the support! best case scenario, they just make defense better, because right now it's basically just exclusively offensive stats that are king
i agree ice should be a tank not dps. one of the reasons i think they are having trouble with ice is because ice is implemented with every other school with shields. Like me for example a balance, i have several shields traps and ways to debuff the enemy. So in turn if ice got buffed to match lifes life, balances shields and debuffs it would be completely overpowered. Which is why i think ice has always been the worst. Its main objective defense is already implemented in every other school except storm, so basically its balance for defense in every school so it would be very difficult to not get carried away buffing ice. In my opinion ice is the easiest school to buff and make overpowered which is why they are so harsh on it. If they weren't it would be as good as or better than death. Unfortunately, thats why i think ice will remain stunted for now and for a while longer.I want ice to be great the lore of ice wizards are always loved an ex: ranni from elden ring. sorry for the long read :) @@IceGoldPvP
