Just bough ohlins dumper for my 2019 R6 :) I think I’ll leave the insal to the professionals, as I also got bonamici rear sets for my baby and just can’t wait to try all that :) Still enjoyed your video!

Thank you!!! I am pretty sure that the 1572-DMY-17R6-K bracket from Graves will work with the 2017 since the instructions here (www.gravesport.com/content/instructions/DMY-17R6-K.pdf) indicates that the part # is good for 2006 to 2017. Id suggest contacting Graves or your local distributor to be 100% sure.
      Thanks for watching!

hi so I have a ohlins steering damper and want to install on a 16 Yamaha R6 with OEM bars and all. If I buy the graves bracket kit from graves, would I do the same install as this? I also plan on leaving the ignition key instead of going keyless.

Hi Tony - Yes, if you buy the Graves mounting bracket, you will need to remove the ignition key in order to mount the damper and bracket. The only other bracket that I've seen is the K-Tech unit and you also need to remove the ignition key in order to mount it as well.
      Cheers,
