Malaki ang konsumo sa kuryente ng mga aircon. Malaki ang bahay nila kaya maraming aircon ang kailangan. Malamang more than half ng electricity bill nila ay galing sa aircon. Sobrang baba ng meralco bill ninyo. Kami ay nasa 5k at hindi pa whole day na gamit ang aircon nyan. Sa lunch at sa gabi lang. Though meron din kaming microwave at water heater sa shower.

too bad kung napaka babang watts ang binigay na panel ng nag install ka sa kanya, impossible na hindi alam ito ng nag install. 25 years mo ggamitin ito dapat binigay sa kanya pinaka latest na panels. which is 500 to 600watts per panel and not the 270watts per panel.
The mentioned 270w panels were installed years ago, during that time 270w were the highest and most efficient panels available in the market. Just because mataas and 650w doesn't mean it would be the best solar panel to install. There are a lot of considerations to be made, like the weight and the size. If you were to upgrade, it would be very wasteful to dispose of the 270w panels in exchange for new panels when they are still highly productive.

Your problem is that you have a flat roof and your pv solar panels are installed flat, the panels should be facing perpendicular towards the sun (South where I live). Got a quote from a solar installer here in Virginia USA to have a 33 pv solar panels at 370W each with enphase micro inverter (12.21KW ) grid tied system installed for around $32,400 less 26 percent federal tax credit for 2022 (it cost $2.60 to $3.30 per watt to install here in VA USA). Have you seen all fix farm solar system are all installed not lying flat it's tilted. It's installed tilted facing the sun because of the sun peak hours of about 5 hours used to calculate have big your system will be. If you can afford install a movable solar panel systems that will rotate to follow the sun and adjust it's angle automatically it's available but very expensive.
If it's installed flat and string inverter is used not micro inverter or optimiser when it rains and water pooling on the panels it's like it's shaded because rain water will not run off and dirt will accumulate on the panels. Just Google how to install on a flat roof and you can see a good installer used a tilted leg on the install it's more expensive though. Most of the houses here in USA have a pitch roof and using asphalt shingles and installed facing South not North. Experiment using a flash light in an angle shining a flat surface vs a tilted surface the light rays on the flat surface are not concentrated as compared to the one that is tilted.

Your house is inefficient most likely due to the amount of windows. You should look into a passive house first then add solar + battery storage.

Grabe sir Julius, 30k electric bill. 😲We have x4 - 9w na led lights; x1- reff na 5 cu.; x1 - hanabishi infrared cooker; x1 - mid size rice cooker and x1 - 42 inch led tv. Wala kaming ac, ligo lang tapos electric fan. ₱1300 ang bill namin.
Baka kasi yung CR nila at bahay ng aso niya may aircon.
Malaki ang konsumo sa kuryente ng mga aircon. Malaki ang bahay nila kaya maraming aircon ang kailangan. Malamang more than half ng electricity bill nila ay galing sa aircon.
Sobrang baba ng meralco bill ninyo. Kami ay nasa 5k at hindi pa whole day na gamit ang aircon nyan. Sa lunch at sa gabi lang. Though meron din kaming microwave at water heater sa shower.
Sir curious Lang anong brand NG AC at ilang HP. po yung ac nyo sir?

Sir julius sana hybrid inverter ang pinakabit mo. Para kung gusto mo mag upgrade after few years, you can just add lifePo4 batteries. Mas malaki ang matitipid mo. Though dapat complete ang protection ng battery bank (with bms and balancer). I do agree the opinion of others na sana mas better wattage rating ang kinabit sa additional 22 panels. Can i ask regarding panel connection, how many panels in series and parallel? Kindly ask also the contractor if they installed CT limiter?

Kaya sobrang dami ng Solar Panels ni sir Julius (42 + 22 pcs) ay dahil napaka liit ng wattage (270 watts) ang bawat isang panel, ang pinaka mataas na wattage ng solar panel na available sa market so far ay Trinasolar Vertex 650 watts, base sa Meralco Bill nya na 37K per month ang Solar Setup na dapat sa kanya ay 26kWh
Kung 650 watts na Trinasolar ang gagamitin ay 40 pcs lang ang 26kWh
Yang 64 pcs na 270 watts ang total ay 17.28kWh malayo pa rin sa 26kWh na fit sa mga appliance load nya kaya malaki pa rin babayaran nya kahit nagdagdag na sya ng 22 panels
too bad kung napaka babang watts ang binigay na panel ng nag install ka sa kanya, impossible na hindi alam ito ng nag install. 25 years mo ggamitin ito dapat binigay sa kanya pinaka latest na panels. which is 500 to 600watts per panel and not the 270watts per panel.
The mentioned 270w panels were installed years ago, during that time 270w were the highest and most efficient panels available in the market.
Just because mataas and 650w doesn't mean it would be the best solar panel to install. There are a lot of considerations to be made, like the weight and the size.
If you were to upgrade, it would be very wasteful to dispose of the 270w panels in exchange for new panels when they are still highly productive.

Sir, sa morning totally offgrid kami.. Sa gabi, naka MECO kami ( utility company) kasi naka export kami sa umaga kaya free sa gabi dahil binabalik ng utility ang binigay namin na power from solar sa umaga.

Your problem is that you have a flat roof and your pv solar panels are installed flat, the panels should be facing perpendicular towards the sun (South where I live). Got a quote from a solar installer here in Virginia USA to have a 33 pv solar panels at 370W each with enphase micro inverter (12.21KW ) grid tied system installed for around $32,400 less 26 percent federal tax credit for 2022 (it cost $2.60 to $3.30 per watt to install here in VA USA). I'm planning to go green and help the environment.

Have you seen all fix farm solar system are all installed not lying flat it's tilted. It's installed tilted facing the sun because of the sun peak hours of about 5 hours used to calculate have big your system will be. If you can afford install a movable solar panel systems that will rotate to follow the sun and adjust it's angle automatically it's available but very expensive.

Yes but AGAIN....the sun is moving.
If it's installed flat and string inverter is used not micro inverter or optimiser when it rains and water pooling on the panels it's like it's shaded because rain water will not run off and dirt will accumulate on the panels. Just Google how to install on a flat roof and you can see a good installer used a tilted leg on the install it's more expensive though. Most of the houses here in USA have a pitch roof and using asphalt shingles and installed facing South not North. Experiment using a flash light in an angle shining a flat surface vs a tilted surface the light rays on the flat surface are not concentrated as compared to the one that is tilted.

May ref na yan, araw-araw umaandar ang mga makina para sa furniture shop, andyan pa yong TV na halos isang araw ginagamit ng mga bata, May water pump na nagsusupply sa buong bahay, tapos may welding machine pa. Wala lang aricon. So iniisip ko baka dahil lang sa aricon kaya ganyan kalaki? Kung kami siguro magpapakabit nyan baka zero na bill namin, kami pa yong babayaran ng electric comp for selling our solar generated power.
1.5 hp na aircon is 5k petot ang electic bill a month sabi noong us citizen na nag retire dito.
