Small bright flashlights are a must have in the winter. Starting before sun up, and typically getting home after sun down, they're great for the spots your work lights don't reach. Price points on a decent tractor at the moment are off the carts high, but if you have over 3 acres with gardens, flowers, country living.. you probably can justify buying one. I use mine for everything around the house from carrying everything at once, to taking out the trash.. P.S. it'll make you a lazier worker 😂
Yeah, I put 450 hours on my tractor in the last year so I’m definitely not in the category I talked about. I do think it’s an interesting conversation that you see about the backers I have seen some people that put 40 hours a year on a tractor and they probably could’ve hired someone to do all the important stuff and saved money. That’s the point people make about saving money by renting a backhoe. For me I think a lot of people aren’t trying to make the best economic choice. They just want to have a tractor, or a backhoe and that’s perfectly fine if you can afford it
@@RockhillfarmYT 100% agree with that. There some clients I've had, that I've actually talked into buying a tractor for themselves and just contacting me for pointers as they get comfortable. If I'm over more than 5 times a year, I'll start hinting towards looking into one. It also depends on the person also. Some people just don't need to be on anything motorized, let alone a tractor that can really tear stuff up.
Yeah, where I was digging was right where it turns into rock hill. You go up another hundred yards and the rocks are bigger than the tractor Thanks for watching
I agree with you in general about renting vrs owning. However, I live in Michigan and found the rates out here to be high enough to easily justify buying. Two big projects I did over two years competely paid for my L4060 Kubota and the accesories.
For me I don’t care what the math says Which is kind of what I was getting at. I wanted it so I bought it I do think it’s an interesting conversation. I’ve put 450 hours on mine in 16 months so I definitely justified the purchase. I have seen people put 40 hours on their tractor in a year and around here tractor work is $60 an hour. So it would take about 700 hours of hiring someone to pay for a $42,000 tractor. That’s a lot for a tractor but I would say if you factor in all the attachments and upgrades a lot of people are spending that I don’t necessarily think the math has to make sense but every time the Backhoe conversation comes up that’s the argument people make
We are on the same page. Besides the two big projects that needed to be done there are the many onging projects that just seem to appear because the tractor is there. I can do things now that would simply not have been possible before. Looking ahead it makes maintaining my hobby horse farm much easier, things don't get any easier as the years go buy. Additionally it has been nice to be able to help others, I have been given a lot over the years and am very willing to share. I enjoy your channel.
You didn't mention that tractors are great fun besides being useful. And that light? Only a person who has struggled with a cheap flashlight in a bad situation can appreciate a truly good light. I don't skimp on flashlights anymore. Looking forward to your next video! Keep up the good work!
Awesome. This afternoon I was in the shop doing tomorrow’s tractor upgrade video and I played it a couple of times on apple music. Sometimes I think people are going to get tired of it on my videos but it’s one of my favorite songs
Well Brock...your not having any trouble falling asleep these days are you ! Ha ha Good work .where did you purchase your tractor lites ? Good work ! pc
Those are from Artillian. Besides being bright they come with a couple of different clamp on options so that they can be attached to different shape rops or wherever you need to I need to show those better on the channel at some point because they have a really cool swivel mechanism that let you rotate them 360° in addition to being able to tilt them They are a little bit pricey but like everything from Artillian it’s high-quality. Kind of like the flashlight I reviewed. There are cheaper options but sometimes you get what you pay for
Audio way better on this video. What cameras are you using now? Great video. I carry an olight in my pocket everyday. That one would be to big for me to carry every day. Keep up the great videos.
I generally use a Canon M 50 with the rode video Mic pro. I damaged the camera and had to replace it so I was using GoPro cameras exclusively for a few videos They work but the audio comes out at a lower quality and I probably needed to tweak that in the edit

Rain finally moved out up here. Gonna be a while before we dry out. Good call cutting trench before those storms rolled in.
Thanks
You gotta love working in the dark but that’s why we spend lots of money on lights good video
Thanks
Good stuff. I amazed how far flashlights have come. I also love the illumination of your machine
Yeah, the Artillian Rops lights are awesome
Keep up the work. I learn a lot from you. Thank you.
I really appreciate that.
Thanks for watching
I see why you named your farm Rockhill Farms! There were a ton of rocks in that trench. I enjoy your channel!

Cheap flashlights are a pain
I use mine a lot for tactical light. The Fenix fits great in your carry hand with your carry.
That’s a nice light! Clayton is looking for a good flashlight he can strap on his firefighting helmet. I’ll show this too him! Thank you!
It really is a high quality light
Thanks for watching
To answer your question "How long do it take you to use a flashlight for a hour and a half?"... I'm going to guess about 90 minutes! 🤣🤣🤣 Sorry!
I thought about that while editing but it would probably take me a month to put 1 1/2 on a flashlight
Thanks for watching and for commenting
Hey Brock several weeks ago I messaged you asking what the name of that song was (Simpler life) now at work a bunch of us play it.
Awesome. This afternoon I was in the shop doing tomorrow’s tractor upgrade video and I played it a couple of times on apple music.

You should try the Fenix TK16 flashlight. I have a bunch of flashlights from Fenix, including the head worn one, and they are all awesome. IMO
