One of the best explanations out there hands down. This is probably the only video to show someone who has no idea what Palantir capable of. Thank you 1. Software defined data integration 2. Git integration 3. Ontology 4. Application layer

Great overview and summary of Foundry. I still remember your very early videos where you saw clearly the vision of what this platform could be, and here it is before our eyes unfolding. It's been a great journey following you all this time and hoping the community can keep hearing from you on twitter now that this channel might go silent soon. Thanks for everything!
with the motivation that you have provided I have signed up for the foundry learning. I am a senior software engineer but data science is new for me. let's see how it goes. thank you codestrap
The Very Best Explanation A-Z of what Foundry does and how it can help an organization like no other full stack platform🥇 What other platform is actually opinionated and thus giving you transformational outcomes!
I have been your subscriber and follower for few years. You helped a lot in understanding the hype and the uniqueness of Palantir vision, technology and mission. Not gonna lie to you it took me many few months to understand, thanks to you mostly. For the last 11 years I was working at INTEL and I see clearly the impact that Palantir technology can provide for huge organizations that are bloated with useless and very complex software that don't really provide value as Palantir. I have decided to leave INTEL after 11 years. Now I am interested in Palantir technology more then ever. I am sure I am not the only one, unfortunately most people can't get exces and can't get necessary training. I am sure as more people experience using Palantir, they will be able to promote within the organization a move to work with Palantir. In addition I think Palantir should provide training to get certification in order to have a bigger pool of qualified deployed field engineers. I have started to take courses on Palantir till I have reached to a point where access for training was not available. I would like to be professional field engineer and even build business of helping businesses move over to Palantir Ecco system. Please assist.
Cannot be understated how big of a change it is when you actually own (in the sense being in full control of it) your data vs. being held hostage with your data by your SaaS provider. Today's SaaS providers are very aware of this fact that holding your data creates this lock-in effect that makes it difficult for customers to leave.
Please keep putting up new videos. You bring excellent value to your subscribers fans and followers like me. Thank you for providing good quality professional information.
I think it can be a new platform where SAP competitors can build a better solution. One where all your application data originates and is governed by your big data OS, ie Foundry.

Brilliant article, birth of Digital Twin. The idea of a digital twin was born at NASA in the 1960s as a “living model” of the Apollo mission. In NASA’s case, this came in the form of 15 simulators used for training and for testing mission parameters. NASA engineers used the computer-simulation capabilities of the simulators to figure out what went wrong, test a variety of potential solutions, and choose the best, which they relayed to the Apollo 13 crew. 🙏 Can’t post link G##gle NASA digital twin.
Hey CodeStrap, since using foundry have you find any changes around the ease of use - requiring less input from palantir engineers. That is, I want know if the software is becoming more plug and play and less palantir engineers involvement.
I never felt I needed Palantir to create solutions on Foundry. They are great at answering questions and consulting on some of my crazier ideas on what to build. But to me, the platform has always been straight forward to use.
Codestrap. Can you put together a video that illustrates how Foundry can assist Colleges and Universities. I work at a high end university and we have systems on top on systems none of which play nice together. Student account has their programs, admissions have their own which is again different from student conduct and even the parking services. Nothing is unified. In my area statistics are tracked in excel. Not exactly the model of efficiency. Also, realistically what would Foundry cost of an institution with 20 - 30k students. All we hear about are mega corporations that fork out 10s of millions of dollars.
Unfortunately I'm not an SME in the systems you are describing. I think there's plenty of content both from me and Palantir that showcase data connections and systems integration in Foundry. You could probably imagine for example doing real time analytics across all your systems and joining student data in Foundry to get a complete picture of the students journey in your institution. Foundry could drive alerts across all your systems and even trigger action in the source systems as part of a remediation strategy implemented in Foundry. You could also model increases and decreases in enrollment and how it would effect your various departments. In addition you could create models to predict churn (ie drop outs) etc and intervene (offer student loans, mentoring, etc). The cost would likely be 1-3 million.
Come to think of it this would be pretty incredible for educational institutions. Feel free to DM me. Link to my discord is in my video descriptions and I'm also on twitter (@CodeStrap411)
I've been tempted to invest in Palantir but haven't pulled the trigger yet. Lots of insider selling and no buying. Any thoughts on that and the valuation?
Foundry is a modular product. It consists of over a hundred different modules and microservices. It's on par with an AWS in terms of features and services.

This is groundbreaking. And the businesses don't even know it.

Any updates coming on the Distribution Of and Education on the real Benefits of APOLLO🌟?
What is the difference between Palantir Gotham and Foundry?
Gotham is their government offerings and Foundry is commercial
I own 10k PLTR shares. Are you paid by them? I'll keep my shares anyway, I just want to know. Thank you bro.
No, I'm not paid by them. I do have access to a free Foundry stack and im a Foundry Ambassador which is like a developer advocate.
@codestrap8031 Thank you my friend
when I can pay by my credit card, 100usd and start building apps and sell to third party?

I can't comment on the stock as I have access to a free Foundry stack and im a Foundry Ambassador which is essentially a developer advocate.
@@codestrap8031 makes sense and thanks for the response!
Please do not confuse the selling of RSUs for tax liability as 'insider selling'.
Is foundry the same as AIP?
Currently, AIP is a suite of Foundry modules. But if I was a betting man, I'd bet it becomes a separate product.
In your opinion will palantir home become a product
