State Champs is one of the biggest reasons that Pop Punk is still somewhat good. Such a banger of a track. State Champs is always going to be my favorite band in this genre. They never disappoint me.
This song gives vibes that it's a mixture of sounds between all 3 of their albums, especially getting The Finer Things feels. I'm not normally one to automatically think that older is better, but I did appreciate this and this song is another banger from the Champs!! Also love how fun they always try to make their videos, the band and the crew who made this smashed this one too! 😃🔥

The Finer Things is by far my favorite release of theirs and with this having reminiscing sounds of it, it made me happy
There’s so much to say. I was expecting Champs to go a poppier route on this album. I was not expecting this.
This feels like a cumulation of the best parts of each of their three albums- Derek’s grittiness on TFT, the insane riffs of AWTAB, and the production quality of Living Proof.
This sounds like their most rhythmically technical work to date. If this sounds anything like the full album, I am incredibly stoked.
P.S. can we talk about Evan’s fills?! Dude gets better with every album, I swear.

I love State Champs. I just got back from meeting my girlfriend for the first time since the pandemic began. (She's in Canada and the borders just opened for US citizens to enter). After a 12 hour drive, and a year with "distance and no touch" I feel like this song was made for me.
