Thanks for this. First impressions pretty consistent with others I have read - both positive and negative. Trying to decide whether to keep or cancel our reservation the end of the year and go with something different. Can't want to see the rest of your vlogs. You always do such an amazing job!
I AM TRYING TO DECIDE THE SAME. I HAVE WATCH MORE BAD VIDEOS ABOUT SEASIDE THAN GOOD. WE ARE BOOKED FOR OCT 2018.......I HAVE STARTED SEARCHING OTHER CRUISE LINES IN CASE WE DECIDE TO CANCEL OUR SEASIDE VACATION.
We did 12/23 sailing and loved it! We loved the food, our room, the crew, the shows, the pool deck. It was all really fabulous! We are Disney platinum cruisers so we had high standards for MSC to meet and we were very happy. I will say the negative reviews that I saw were coming from very nick-picking kind of people.
YOU JUST SEALED THE DEAL FOR ME.I TOO AM A DISNEY PLATINUM MEMBER. THIS WILL BE OUR FIRST NON-DISNEY CRUISE ALSO THIS WILL BE OUR FIRST CRUISE WITHOUT OUR CHILDREN, HOWEVER, WE DO HAVE A DISNEY CRUISE BOOKED FOR JAN.2019. THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU FOR GIVING ME PEACE OF MIND. MSC SEASIDE HERE WE COME!!!!!
Oh yeah Did you know about the MSC Loyalty card transfer program? We were able to use our Disney status to get their black card status. Lots of perks - priority boarding, captains party, gifts to your room every night, free specialty dinner. I think if you go onto MSC and treat all the crew with lots of warmth and respect they will treat you in kind. We heard of people being really rude and demanding and than complaining. It was like, what? In addition, we paid 1/3 of the price for this cruise at Christmas compared what we paid for Disney Christmas cruise the year before. They were understaffed in a buffet a few times but like seriously they are just getting underway and the crew was amazingly kind. We loved the shows too. They were different but super entertaining and good for my kids to be exposed to Opera :-) Not all shows were Opera but a couple were Opera. My picky eater kids loved the food! The pizza was divine.
I didn't know about the MSC Loyalty card transfer program but I will be looking into it.We got a good deal on this cruise also which is why we decided against doing a 7 day Disney for our anniversary. We are open to trying new things actually i am looking foward to the shows. Again thanks.

Didn’t know you were a travel agent. We are driving to the port of Miami in September. We are seniors will it be hard to park our car. Do we put the luggage off before we park. Seaside we booked with MSC. Enjoy the videos. Thank you
Did someone from the cruise line inform you that the awful smell was formaldehyde coming from the carpeting? I read where strong smells of formaldehyde for long periods of time can cause headaches, and make people sick. The ship has a smell of septic / sewage. Is that what formaldehyde smells like, because in our stateroom a few weeks ago, the smell was actually coming out of the air conditioning vent in the ceiling.
Do you guys have any plans going on. The new carnival horizon? Look every pretty and fun. Me and my family are going on it. Looks great for kids, and seems like it has a lot to do. And they go to Mexico!
I am a new subscriber and my family and I are scheduled to cruise on the Seaside in June. I have been on Royal Caribbean and Carnival but this will be my husband's first cruise. The smell you guys mentioned in this video has me worried that maybe this is not the best one to take - can you please tell me if you would recommend it? We haven't made our final payment and I'd rather switch cruise lines if this one was not great. The goal is to get my husband hooked on cruising, not turn him off from them!

You can drop your luggage off first, just pull up to the porter area. Parking is very convenient to the ship also. Have fun!
