- Taron is the anchor attraction of Klugheim and arguably all of Phantasialand. I once, by chance, got to ride the last train of the day in the front seat and in the dark. The ride immediately became much more intense due to the sense of speed, great visuals and lighting, and because it warmed up nicely. I don't care the forces may not have been the best, that complete picture was what elevated the ride for me.
I've heard this one speeds up. I still need to try this one at night. The closest I got was a dusk ride.
@@CanobieCoaster I don't know if it's a regular thing or just the ride ops doing it by themselves but when I went to Wintertraum in 2019, the trims before the final turn were turned off after dark. It gave some decently strong floater but I can see why they're there now, I got bonked pretty fierce by the side of the seat when unbanking from that final turn into the brakes.
@@asehujiko8500 I can guarantee you that, the forces become are much stronger in the later hours, it's literally like day and night.
I recommend going to Phantasialand in winter, preferably on a weekday! Got the chance to keep my seat a few times, a real walk-on for most of the day. Sadly the launches don't feel as strong when you go for 3rd round while keeping you seat :D Only waiting time for front seats (like 2-4 persons waitng). In winter the park opens and closes later in the day, so you're guaranteed to experience a night ride. The ice cold wind in the face just adds it and also the whole place is just brilliant in the dark, pretty magical
Taron at night at Wintertraum is a whole different thing. Every Winter it rises up in my top 3 again for this reason xD
When it warms up all day + the heated rails it goes fast af. Combined with the All the fog and the very dark lighting EXCEPT for a menacing red glow in the trench where the 2nd launch speeds through it is just amazing.
Its a whole different vibe Rolling out of that Station, seeing nothing but fog, stones and darkness while you cross what feels like a glowing pit of lava or something.
In my opinion Taron isn`t overrated. The whole package with Klugheim is just amazing. You're right, there are some weak spots in the layout, but therefor it`s very re-rideable. It's not in my personal top 10, but i still love to ride it. :)
I've seen several people put this as a top 10 coaster overall. I can see how it is that for some, but the ride isn't quite in that perfect tier for me. It's still a very good ride though.
Had the chance to visit phantasialand recently, got a walk on back row taron, had to wait 1 train. Weather was forecast for heavy storms, turned out to be only overcast and 5 degrees cooler (appreciated after the European heatwave). Must say I found it incredibly impressive, ranking 2nd overall for the trip. The ride felt like it just wasn't going to end and the near miss elements made it such an incredible ride

Taron is one of my favorite coaster behind FLY, Kondaa and egf. The coaster is crazy when you ride it at the end of the day !
The latest ride I got in my most recent trip occurred around 4 pm (6 pm close). I didn't find it much different than my early rides.
but never start with Taron and then go to F.L.Y. It will appear very slow:)
I rode Taron in 2018 and am surprised about your impressions. I must've ridden this on it's best day because I got ejector airtime over the entire first hill and the positive Gs were so strong that they gave me a light headache. The only part which I remembered to be rather weak was the transition leading from the helix into the bunny hops.

@@CanobieCoasterIt was a pretty hot day with 30C when the ride opened so it was flying but the trims on the bunny hops hit so hard that I didn't notice any airtime on the second hill, yet the force from the turn into the breakrun still felt exhausting
I rode it just a few weeks ago and while i was a bit sick and had stuffed sinuses i did also get a light headache after riding it

I plan to do a top 50 for steel and wood coasters.

I personally love this coaster to Bits. My only downside is those stupid trims. However the transition into the brakes is aggressive already, so I can see why they are added. They should just have added then on the other side of the hills!
I wish the trim was on the other side of the hill like you said.
When I rode Taron this summer, I rode it in the back row in the late afternoon. I have to say, the years before, the camelback only gave floater. But this year, it had the Strongest ejector i've ever felt. Yes, stronger than Magnums Triangles or Steve's Outerbank.
I got my best rides on Taron this year. There were a few extra turns with airtime. But that final hill was only a bit better for me due to the trim.
In the POVs it has always looked rather tame which is what surprised me when the coaster enthusiasts that value intensity above all else gave Taron endless praise.
It feels faster than it looks in the POV for the start of the first and second halves.

As a more calm Intamin Blitz like Cheetah Hunt, it serves well in the other category, themeing. So what it doesn't have the intensity of Maverick or any inversions, what it has is some of the best rock work of any coaster. I don't think this is the best in the park, I think I would actually prefer Black Mamba for the intensity. But this ride would be completely different I itvwas just on flat grass instead of through all the rocks with fantastic near misses.
I agree this ride is very good. I just don't think it can compete with the world's best coasters. I think FLY is a better execution of the high thrill and theming concept.
I've been saying that thing about black mamba for ages, but it is subjective anyway. Besides, we have to thank Taron for a ride like velocicoaster. + here me out please, pin my comment Wathever, but ERIC DAMAN is the genius theming designer for almost everything in Phantasialand.
I discovered Taron in 2021, I don't think it's over rated. Taron is sensational, fun, long with a rich layout, well themed. It's the best coaster in germany behind EGF.
I prefer FLY in the same park.
As of 2022 Taron is included in the new Quick pass plus. Also if you visit during a weekday (like i did) you can have 10 minute waits for taron sometimes. They even had 4 train ops during this.
That's awesome! I visited on a weekday, but it still had a long line.
@@CanobieCoaster maybe there was a holiday in Germany. I made sure there wasn't any holiday or school vacation in Germany on the days i was there so that's why there might not have been any long lines.
I always felt Taron was a bit overrated. However I was at Phantasialand last week and got a couple of rides that seemed a bit more forceful than I remembered, so it's back up my rankings again.
Taron is a very good ride, but I don't think it's a top tier coaster. I much prefer F.L.Y.
Tbh. bc they put so much effort in their coasters I don't think u can ever call it overrated.
@@CanobieCoaster Yeah, but it was designed to be kinda family friendly (no inversions, not too much airtime and high positive G's etc.). Theme Parks in Germany tend to attract much more customers with (decent themed) family rides instead of high top thrill attractions. Thats also the reason why Warner Bros/Six Flags sold their Theme Park in Bottrop (today Movie Park) after trying to become another generic Six Flags Park with mostly unthemed thrill rides, most people won't revisit those parks here. The founders of Phantasialand were also known for their opinion of not wanting any 'looping coasters' and stuff, it was a HUGE sensation when they announced Black Mamba and Talocan back then. And I know some people who don't like Phantasialand anymore, because they removed a lot of their (classic famous) dark rides and replaced them with (for some people too intense and scary) roller coasters. In Germany we have a saying that it's like a walk on a tightrope, but I think they did really well, most people aren't too afraid of Taron and it's intense and spectacular enough to please thrill seekers and coaster fans. And you defiantly want to revisit and ride it agains, cause it's just a cool experience. Cool video btw, keep up the good work mate!
I always thought it looked a little overrated in terms of the elements/forces, but I certainly hope to ride it someday. The visual aspects of this coaster seem so incredible. It is quite the sight to behold on video. I want to see it in person.

I had the chance to ride this coaster on sunday 22 May 2022 and I thought it was an incredible coaster. The launches, airtime moments, laterals and the theming are insanely good. At the moment I haven't ridden many coasters but Taron is my number 1 for sure.

I'm so glad you didn't rate it a 10 and "best thing ever" like everyone else does. It's an average coaster in a stunning environment which makes it thrilling. I still can't understand why a park in China cloned this out in the open LOL.
It's an above average coaster for sure, but it's not on the elite level like I've heard others say.
@@CanobieCoaster Depends on who you ask. For me personally this is the best coaster in europe, only rivaled by Zadra. Have not been on Ride to Happyness which also has a great reputation tho.
It's my number 1 coaster, but the only theme parks I've been to are Alton Towers, Thorpe Park, Europa Park and Phantasialand. I'd never been on anything so forceful at Taron, but you've made me realise I have to try Velocicoaster :) I liked F.L.Y for the incredible lift hill pre-show, but I found the actual experience rather mild and, if I want a gentle flying experience, I have Galactica on my doorstep (that lying-down section is such a comfortable nap time and I love it). Taron was the highlight of my trip, quickly followed by Chiapas and the wacky Geiste Rickshaw. But staying in Charles Lindbergh and watching F.L.Y with a beer in hand was also fantastic. Great review - it really revealed how inexperienced I am with regard to coasters. I'll probably never ride Maverick, but it does sound like the master of Intamin launch coasters. However, nothing can beat the magic of Phantasialand. I wish I lived next door :)
FLY in the back row was super forceful and where that ride shined. Taron is a great compliment too though.

I think the slower sections of this rollercoaster are still fun and great and don't take away the thrills of this ride.
They stand out compared to the breakneck first part of each half to me, but they're still decently fun.

The slowdown before the 2nd launch with that S-curves builds up anticipation in my opinion... the ride fakes to sneak Back to the Station entree but instead it goes "sike" and blasts you straight back on track
Taron is a bucket list ride for me because of how amazing the theming is and the fact that it is still pretty thrilling makes it even better. I feel like this one of the coolest coasters in the world along with the other headliners at Phantasialand.
Phantasialand really is a cool park. It's amazing what they have done despite their height restrictions.
The reason Taron closes so early is that the park re-opens the whole Klugheim area for hotel guests exclusively in the late evening. THAT's where the real fun starts as you can marathon Taron for 1-1.5 hours with pretty much no waiting time in between.
During daytime, I also prefer F.L.Y. these days, for the so unique ride feeling.
I had the hotel ERT in 2017, but it still wasn't completely dark by the end of it. In 2021, the hotel ERT was only to walkaround Rookburgh at night.
First row night rides during the winter opening are by far the best rides that you can get on Taron, the 2nd Launch is lit up red and filled with fog, the rockwork is lit in different colors and if you happen to catch a ride during the fireworks show the elevated S-Bends after the 2nd launch feel completely surreal. But overall I have to agree with your Review, without the Theming Taron wouldn´t have anywhere near the reputation it has, and the clone in China seems to prove that.
I want to try this one at night someday. The closest I got was a dusk ride in 2017.
Taron and it's buddy Raik are both in their prime at the end of the day.
As we've heard here, Taron is just the best when its properly warmed up and Raik gives you double rides if queues are small at the end of the day which really fits well into the whole back and forth motion with the big clock on the wall. Raik even has special sound and light effects for this mode.

Just rode it this week! I thought it was amazing and front row offers an elite ride! I actually don’t have a problem with the meandering that people criticize it for, I actually think Velocicoaster seems to do it more and rank that lower
I much prefer Velocicoaster myself.
The theming and near misses on Taron look great

I rode Taron 2 weeks ago, on Friday september 2. It was a beautiful sunny day, but not to hot. For some reason, I don't know why, there weren't many visitors in the park. We went to Taron a bit later in the afternoon. I had to wait 10 minutes for the Taron, which meant I could take the ride 5 times in little over an hour. I have to say, this is currently my favourite coaster. The seat is comfortable (which almost nobody talks about in coaster reviews), and the only coaster I have been on that has more comfortable seating is the python in the Efteling (Netherlands), but that coaster is old, to short and had its time. I really enjoyed Tarons double launch. There are some parts where you feel like you are lifted of your seat, giving you a feeling of flight. The scenery is amazing, better than I have seen in other parks. I can't wait to go again when my kids have a few extra cm, so they can join me in this ride.
I had short waits for Taron this year too. I heard it may have been due to the Rhinekirmes.
Its still my favorite coaster in Europe. I agree with the description of the layout amd that there is defintly room for improvement in the 2 secondhalves but the complete package with the theming and near misses makes it a fun coater for me. There are better coaster trackwise out there but like i said this is me favorite ive ridden so far.
And i ussually go of season during the week a lot of times the waiting time goes to 15 to 20 minutes i might change me mind if i would need to wait an hour for it.
I wish I could lap it that many times.
Last time i went to phantasialand the park was really empty becasue it rained in the morning, do i only had to wait 5-10 minutes for black mamba fly and even taron for most of the time

Rode Taron for the first time last Wednesday and loved it. Personally I rated it above Fly which I also loved. I rode it with my sister and we were both of the same opinion rating it as our number two after The Ride to Happiness. We have only as yet ridden coasters in the UK, France, Belgium and Germany.
Ride to Happiness is better than both Phantasialand coasters.

Now that you mention it, Velocicoaster does have a few similarities to Taron: the rockwork, the laterals, the surprise second launch. Velocicoaster does have it beat thanks to its top hat and Mosasaurus roll.

I got my best rides on it this summer in 100 degree heat.
I have ridden taron over 15 times now and i totally agree with your statements. But i wanna give you all a nice fun fact: if you go true the second overbank (overbank after the second launch), you go true the mouth of a dragon and the wings of this dragon. The dragon is formed out of the rocks and you can even see it on the park map.

Considering all of the constraints Phantasialand has to consider, they really have a lovely, lovely park. I really enjoyed riding Taron a lot, but it wasn't even my #2 at the park. I personally thought Mamba and F.L.Y. were my top two, but Taron was a very close 3. I enjoyed it immensely and think it's a world class roller coaster. I just found the other two more fun. I don't know if you got a chance to walk around the back part of the park by the lake. It's so quiet, peaceful and idyllic back there that you kinda forget you're in a theme park. Great area if you or somebody you are with needs a breather from all the crowds and commotion. I fell in love with Phantasialand. It's on the smaller side, but quite immersive and so well done all around. PS - I rode Maverick first thing in the morning and I was basically thinking the same thing about it that you did Taron. It was not exciting at all and I thought I must be trippin because so many people just luhrv Maverick. I didn't get it.
The back section by the lake was closed in 2021, but I went back there in my 2017 visit.
I've had the Chance to get a front row night ride on Taron yesterday - in these conditions it is the best coaster in Germany: Amazing airtime, crazy transitions, incredible sense of speed and stunning visuals. The second Launch is just unbelievable with the fog-filled Tunnel and lighting! While the ends of both halfes aren't amazing, they become decently forceful in the evening with a good sense of speed.
That beeing said, it is weaker for sure in the morning - I guess that's way people think of it so differently.
I still need to get a true night ride on this coaster. I wish Phantasialand stayed open later.
Out of my 76 creds (travelling fair coasters not included) this is my number 1.

2 weeks ago i was here with some friends and we had a discussion on which was better. taron or fly?
We eventually settled on that fly was better than [taron on a cold track]
At the end of the day, taron has warmed up and flies through that track! And that experience combined with the stunning theming is slightly above fly as a total picture.
I like FLY regardless.
I adored Taron. I may be biased, because the international trip my wife and I took to Germany a few years ago was so meaningful to us, but I thought it was a masterful package deal. That second launch is just epic.

I was actually quite disappointed from this roller coaster. I mean, it was fun, and the theaming is absolutely incredible. But I thought it was gonna be way more intense. Everyone said it was way more intense than other roller coasters I had ridden, but I honestly didn't find it that intense. But I do agree on FLY beeing th best roller coaster in the park, this one surprised me in a good way.
FLY is easily the better ride for me.
Taron compared with many other roller coaster 🎢 in the same speed (120kph) are very uncomfortable. Taron nails that it doesn't gives you cramps next day, many rides in Phantasialand are really focused on comfort that's why it's one of the best theme parks in west Europe.

I went last Tuesday; waits were 5 minutes all day long. Rode it 5 times. The new Fly coaster had waits of about 15-20 minutes.. Rode it 3 times. I liked Taron but found it too smooth. The second acceleration is wild and perfect though! I found Fly also a little bit underwhelming since it really induces nausea. All in all I prefer rides like Troy in Toverland or even Joris en de Draak in Efteling.

they actually want everyone to be out of the park at the time they say the park is closing not getting everyone into an one hour queue

I’m gonna ride taron for the first time just after Christmas. I’m SOOOO exited and night rides should be next level
I recommend the last rows at night! It‘s sooo sick! Especially if you don't yet know the layout of Taron 100%.

For anybody watching, beste days to visit Phantasialand are weekdays, normally que for Taron is not longer then 30 min. If you are looking for the best weekend days, the. Go in Oct or Nov. because they don’t do Halloween this park is quite in Oct and in November you’re in their “in between” period before the open with their winter event end of Nov. the last 4-5 weekend ques were max 20 the whole day
I had hour waits in October in 2017 on a rainy day, but that's good to know for the future.
@@CanobieCoaster normally this is the case to bad to hear that you had that experience in oct 17😐 I go all months of the year (inc weekends in Summer🙃) so have a good comparison. And I always see after sept it slows done quite a bit until their wonderful winter period! Wintertraum, have you been? Btw I live 2,5 hours away from this park and still venture out 7-8 times per year😁 that’s my love is for Taron and now FLY as wel🤭

What can I write here but that this is the best ride Ive been on and I think it will stay that way for a long time. Its so super smooth you feel like floating over the rails. Combined with the fast neverending changes of direction I do not miss the "forces" at all. As far as I know tho it pushes up to 5G vertical which is a lot already. The second launch is big fun. Already the sound the LSM produces is phenomenal. Theme is absolutly on point. Great ride!

You say that there’s no way to avoid the long lines. When I went it had a long line, but I hit up the single rider line and never waited more than five minutes. I rode it over twenty times in a row.
I didn't realize this one had a single rider line. It was understandably closed in 2021 and it wasn't available in 2017 either.

I still have yet to ride it but looking at POVs and off ride footage I always thought this ride looked like a weaker Intamin Blitz and I definitely agree with everything you said- from my opinions! The biggest redeeming factors is the soundtrack and the theming

just rode this coaster 2 times yesterday. the morning ride was very cool because I was in the back row. But my ride at the end of the day was the best coaster exprecience I've had. I decided that I wanted to ride the whole ride with my hands in the air which was absolutely amazing. The restraint doesnt come super far down so I was thrown around all over the seat. With its extra speed at the end of the day, this coaster is one of the best for being tossed around like a rag doll.
This one is one that seems like it needs to warm up.

It looks stunning (watching off rides never gets lame) but the lack of force is a big issue for me. Without enough strong elements it feels a bit lame at too many spots. It’s a fun ride but there are several other attractions at PHL that I‘d rather ride.
There are some strong elements in each half, but both fizzle out.
I loved the accelation but some of the transiotion were a little to harsh for me.

Intamin's newer coasters have the Intamin overhead lap bar restraints. What do you think about the Intamin overhead lap bar restraints, do you like or do you love them?

the trim brakes are there because of the last turn which couldn't have been made bigger

@@CanobieCoaster that wouldn't work because it needs the 3 extra trim brakes and the first ones are always one and can't be turned off
if they for some reason don't work you have the other ones
it isn't allowed to operate without them
Been there today, had big luck! Taron waiting times were 10-15 minutes, 5 min for FLY, no waiting time more than 2 min for Black mamba! First time in the park, was reading and was said about long waiting times, just pure luck!

It's a shame that the parks land locked problem forced them to take out the entire Silver City section to build this as it looked very cool for a Western themed area although seeing how out of place River Quest and Mystery Castle looked in the background of that land, they both look much better with Klugheim as their new area.
I wish they had more land, but it does lead to them doing insane quality in what they have.
I've not ridden it yet but it does seem a little overrated. Fly looks better to me too. I'm curious as to why you prefer F.L.I. but you can save that for a F.L.I. review which I'd imagine is coming soon. Thanks for posting!

I think that taron is underrated but yes it has some death spots but if you put them all out, you still have 50 seconds of forcefull elements. So you still have 20 seconds extra ride to of gorceless elements and people forget about it. Btw Tarons second half has only one death spot and that the section with the trims that last for a few seconds. So idk why you said that also the sec half has a weak end
After the final S-hill, I found the finale just ok. The final turns didn't have much kick to them. I agree Taron is very good and has plenty of great elements. I just don't think it's in the elite tier.

As a Phantasialand homeparkista, i dont know if i agree with you to not go on this ride early in the day. In my recent visit, i rode it right after it opened and it was freezing cold, like 1-2°C. If i am not mistaken that led to the fact that they had to increase the power of the launches and it was my most intense ride on taron ever. I was dizzy and shaky afterwards, amazing ride!

I don't think that's possible. Intamin has restricted the LSM launch parameters due to safety reasons. Only themselves can do changes to it. There is a boost-mode included when heating up the coaster in test-section - which is not allowed to have riders in it though.
I rode the ride in it's opening year and it was good but I found it to be a bit overrated. But then I rode it again 2 months ago and I had some really good rides. If you stop thinking that you get airtime on the last hills it gets way better because you start to focus on the rest of the layout and you can appreciate the coaster for what it does and not blame it for what it does not
It's still very good. It just doesn't have a perfect layout.

Been there in November. Park was empty with 0 mins queue time on every single ride (including fly and taron). As 10 people were in the front line queue operators let us stay on the tain for 4-5 consecutive rides (same on fly via a service door as on fly you cannot stay on the train). Well probably once in lifetime experience. I though taron was the best coaster experience in the world already but after 10 minutes non stop well... that's something! Probably overrated but on the orher hand we are still discussing if this (a 6 yrs old coaster) is the best in the world? Theming is world class indeed and makes 50% of the riding experience

Its is only called "overrated" beacuse all the EP-Fansbois said.... In my opinion on of the best Coasters in Germany - The hole package is awesome.
The ride as a package is very good and still a ton of fun. I just can't put it with the most elite coasters.
I know it wouldn't be the most positive video, but I'd be really interested to see a video on your top 10 most overrated coasters, considering you've ridden over 1000 coasters

yes it's a little overrated but it has two great launches and one great airtime moment. my favorite ride at phantisaland
It's a very good ride for sure. I prefer FLY though.
Hoping to ride it in 2022. I would not expect it to be as good as Maverick. In fact I think Pantheon, Velocicoaster, Taiga, Kondaa, ISpeed all look better from a ride perspective. The rock work is quite impressive.
I'd compare this to Velocicoaster's 1st half for the entire ride for intensity.
I have not ridden Taron, but I've ridden ISpeed and Taron looks already better. Sure, ISpeed has an incredible and forceful first half, but it doesn't have those comfy lapbars, it's not that smooth, and it has no theming. Moreover, after the mid-course, ISpeed is basically over, it doesn't do anything worth noting after the brakes. So, considering the whole experience, I'd say Taron is better.
@@Mattia_Genuardi To me the ride out layout and thrill experience is far more import than theming. The setting can give it a few bumps up, but not enough to overcome those 2 other categories.

It's worth the wait, but I preferred to wait for FLY.

When you see how much Taron was hyped yes its overrated, i still love it to bits, it was my first big coaster and it was the coaster that made me an enthusiast, i knew nothing about it and all the hype and love i have for it is mostly my nostalgia, and i love that slower s curve before the second Vrmmmmm.. it just builds fun anticipation, even if its kinda slow and untrhilling

My rides in 2017 (rain, 60 degrees, start and end of day) were identical to my summer rides in 2021 (80-85 degrees, start and end of day). Does it look slow in my footage?

In my humble opinion, you just can't go wrong with Intamin. Yeah, they've got their issues, but I've never been disappointed.
Their layouts are usually great.
Taron is slightly overrated but not "world most" it is still alot of fun

I'm not keen on the term overrated - all it seems to mean is that someone doesn't like something as much as popular opinion does. Which is perfectly valid, of course, but "overrated" feels like it's implying that others are wrong for liking it so much (not saying that's what you're doing).
As it happens, I really liked Taron. It is perhaps a bit padded in places, but that doesn't really detract from the enjoyment for me. The only thing I didn't like was the rather violent final turn into the brake run and very aggressive brakes.
I still really like the ride. I don't think it's a top 5-10 coaster in the world from how I've seen some rank it.
@@CanobieCoaster I wonder how many people have ridden enough coasters around the world to make an informed judgement on that either way. You have, of course, but I suspect most people have a much more limited experience. I'd certainly put Taron in the top 5 in the "rides I've ridden" category (along with Nemesis, Stealth, X2 and Montu, in no particular order) but I wouldn't try to extrapolate beyond that.
Went here this week. I always thought taron was overhyped and then i rode it. Wow. Its the full package for me it uas everything. I dont agree it feels sluggish at all, i think its perfect, is gone straight to the top of my list as its just so re ridable, fly however is a big dissapointment, yeah it looks awesome and is smooth but the position and harness i just found too uncomfortable to enjoy, and theres no force at all to it, the loading was pretty cool but for me taron beats it hands down.
I much prefer FLY, but I find that ride super comfortable.
I always thought black mamba looked to be the most intense coaster at Phantasialand even if Taron and fly were better
FLY in the back row is the most intense in my opinion.

And POVs also dont do justice to fly, you really have to feel it + Front and back row is a huuuge difference since the train is roughly 25-30m long (10 cars)

I don't really like the term overrated to be honest...i also think that there are better overall coasters but only because I've my own tastes, I don't want to invalidate the people who think that it's a top tier ride. Just my opinion

Each of them is heavily focused on near misses, that's correct. But :
- the first one is all about lightness and majesty : it's spectacular because you have the time to see the surroundings.
- the second one (after the s-turns over Klugheim) is all about strenght and agility : it's spectacular because it goes through the rocks at a very fast pace, AND becase you feel very "terrestrial" forces (the positive G's), unlike the precedent one which is "floatier" i'd say (so there's a contrast between the floatiness and the proximity with rocks).
Otherwise, I personnaly like the pacing of Taron (except for the final bunny hill). IMO it feels more like variations (like in a piece of music) than flaws... When I rode Taron (summer 2016, summer 2021, april 2022, winter 2022) the best parts (especially the part from second launch to the helix before the last bunny hop) were REALLY intense though. That's probably why I wasn't left unsatisfied.
I love those airtime hills on this ride.

Theme is apart of the ride. You can have a ride so good you don’t need theming. You can have the theming so good you don’t need a crazy coaster. Pantheon is good but if it had the theming of velocicoaster it would be top tier. Stunt coaster without the theming would be mediocre at beast. Flight of fear is way better then jokers jynx. Even though they are the same ride flight of fears theming makes it far superior

I love Steel Vengeance. I don't think it's overrated one bit. I can see it being disliked if you're taller though due to the restraints.
