Trey Benson was such a great pick. He could have an impact on the Cardinals like Jonathan Taylor had on the Colts. The Cardinals are absolutely in contention for a playoff berth if their defense is top 12 in the league.

Offense MHJ defense Darius Robinson for sure. I’m really excited for the Season for many reasons. I haven’t been this excited in years. I’m excited to watch our defensive especially Darius Robinson who reminds me of my favorite cardinals Darnell Dockett. I’m excited to see our offense with the duo of k1 and MHJ and our tight ends.
Honestly as good as MHJ is. We are still going to be primarily a run first team to set up play action. The biggest impact rookies I think will be Darius Robinson and Max Melton.
Let’s be honest MHJ should be good. But, the best rookie wr season is 1400 yards. Cards have no one to take the pressure off him. Micheal Wilson ain’t proven Dortch plays hard but ain’t that good. McBride took advantage of being the only good receiver/te in the offense at the end of last season. I give dude 800 yards at most
All very good points. It's kinda like this media fear that Brock Bowers is gonna take away reps from last year's highly-touted TE prospect. Wouldn't _any receiver_ do that? No. When your receiving corps has little depth, another good one means the others have more chance to get open. It should _increase_ their reps. This si something the Cardinals need, but hey, McBride is still there. Yeah, they need a better #3 before this strikes fear into anyone.
With all due respect, the only two players we drafted who will have some sort of significant impact this year are probably going to be Harrison and Benson. Rookie defensive, tackles and cornerbacks notoriously struggled their first year at the NFL, and rookie tight ends are even worse off than that.

This allows me the freedom to Not Care As Much if Every Team hits their stride any particular year. But also I'm a long-term thinker by nature & more patient than most people. They got a great GM & HC at the moment. They're in a tough division where who, Geno _Smith_ is possibly the _worst_ QB & the Seahawks the next worst roster? _GAAAAHHhhhh..._ Just the fact that Cardinals fans are able to take themselves this seriously is its own kind of fun! I personally just don't get carried away by all this! I enjoy _observing_ it though. You guys aren't delusional like Cowboys fans. Except maybe about the timeline. & it's better to let your hopes down gently here in the comments section than let's say week 8 if things start looking like they're not living up to expectations. I'm not trying to be a Wet Blanket, but just trying to get people to a more comfortable level where they can still enjoy the highs. There are going to be _TONS_ of highlight reel plays with McBride, MHJR & oh yeah, Kyler freakin' Murray who already has plenty! 💯

Hard to believe both specimens can be good at any same things, you know? I fully expect the Cardinals to become a powerhouse no later than '26. But for right now, there are still too many holes in their roster. Their picks indicate they're not afraid of Truly Building & taking a year longer if they need to. I'm 100% fine with that.
