Technically, Kusanagi would be a good character design for bringing back KOF13 Kyo and would be unique in a manner. So it would be most appreciated to make Kusanagi a staple character for the KOF series IMO.
It would be kinda hard yo make him a mainstay unkess the story has a good reason to bring him back, somehow If we talkin' about Dream Match title however then it can be done

a bit of a hot take, but I think Kyo-1 and Kyo-2, while not likely to be playable again, have a potentially interesting plotline as well. Maybe just Kyo-1, since h is personality actually differs from Kyo. I'd like to know what the perspective of one of the clones is personally.
Probably my favourite KOF track, just a bit sad that it goes to these fighters... damn I can't even call them characters, because they are obviously not. I would definitely give it as Kyo personal theme for his the most dark period of time like KOF99.
Sadly another source of good VGM was taken from us. And similar to BrawlBRSTM, there's bound to be others to salvage the wreckage and continue their work.

It would work like something akin to Mario & Dr. Mario in Smash, with Kyo having an evolving moveset and Kusanagi having a classic moveset.

@@nottobay6768 Geese is dead (twice I think) in Fatal Fury, not KOF. Its a different timeline altogether.

Kyo-1 and 2 are litteraly just kyo from 94-95 and 96-98 if i'm not mistaken
