The options are [1] day and date, [2] time. there's no option to show time and date at the same time :)

Thanks for the set up video. I bought this model, it's a real tough guy, great for day to day and takes knocks in it's stride. My only gripe is the backlight - it's pretty useless. Situated in a poor place and generally very poor at illuminating. With the hand markers and the hour markers being the same color in the dark when illuminated it becomes a confusing mish mash of white flecks that take you longer to read the time.

I bought this watch today knowing the illumination issue. Concluded it will be my daytime watch. My Casio Duro’s will be for nighttime or nice occasions
