- Kit: Hobby Boss 1/35 Soviet GAZ-AA Cargo Truck
This GAZ-AA truck is about 89.47% finished. I’ll continue working on the remaining progress during the diorama session. This is also my first work after four years of idling. I’m getting rusty, with a bit of dark brown, red hull, and orange pigment. And I’ll just copy the paragraph above to the comment section. For those who do read description, this little message that you’re reading now is probably more fun than the video itself as I’ve found that the subject, GAZ AA truck, is not a hot topic.

The Soviet did have many creative oddballs among all sorts of stuff. I also love their architecture. X)

I love this model so much, that after building the first one I ordered 2 more. Still in my stack, but plans for them are being made. I have also built the Miniart version, and found it useless for my kind of postapocalyptic diorama style, great if you want to build a perfect replica of a AA on a flat surface but I don't do that. So to Hobby Boss we go.
Yeah i love these WW2 Soviet trucks too! built a couple ZIS from Italeri and Dragon in mid 2000s. This Hobby Boss kit from the present is harder and delicate than those old kits, though i kinda feel it's a bit small, like 1/36ish. X)
@@dvdw_graphics_craftsThese cars was based on (Im pretty sure) the model A, so they are small, at least the real A "trucks" are small. I am in the marked to buy one, looked at a few, but the one thing that really holds me back, well, two things, is the room inside, its not made for people my size. And yes, the price. Not very expensive but then, its a thing you don't really need for anything and they are pretty useless. It would hang around in the garage and take up space, and have a few tours each year. I can get a good Alfa Romeo for that money, and have way more fun.
Really? i didn't know they were based off model a. when i built the soviet model truck i imagined they were like "regular" size! you have a real one? unless you wanna keep it as a pristine collection, it should be able to do some lite tasks. probably not road safe to modern standards though. i'd be happy just having a model a sedan or truck. 😊
oh, and a sprint of alfa romeo. :D

Very nice video, refreshing to see a building process by you! :) But actually I was wondering why you think it is about 89.47% finished, for me, it looks more like 90.67% finished...
If my calculations are correct, it can only reach 90% top. I'll take that .67% as compliment X) Haha~ Filming the process made me feel like it was more about filming the process than building the model. XD
