Brings tears to my eyes as I know I'll never be able to get that clubbing vibe again... only dresscode was a big smile, local hardcases hugging each other, ladies in leather hotpants and quality recreational pharmaceuticals. Cue midlife crisis!
When we all didn't give a shit about our egos. We dressed to dance..Noone judged us. WE were ALL equals..we didn't care.. Life was free. ..Today's youth has too much of an ego and they prioritise vanity. We prioritised our freedom
Standing in Paradise in Tenerife 1991. I was 19. Just finished work at 5am. Meet up with all my mates that just finished pr’ing We all loved each other like our lives depended on it. This played, and the sun was coming up. The roof slowly rolls back, and we’re all there, smiling at each other and full of doves. And that’s as good as life was ever gonna be. And this track has never got old. I still get goosebumps 🙌🏻❤️
Im lucky enough to live on a farm so i can play all my classic vinyl as loud as i want!!!! I have house parties three or four times a year, get the lads round and do six to twelve hours sets on the old 1210s!!! Its fookin awesome spinning tracks for your old mates,it takes them back to their old shellys days.best feelin ever :-)
John Robinston haha....id like to invite all like minded people who love this beautiful noise called house...dont think the wife would be to pleased though!!
Probably up there in top 3 spine tingling melted awesome tracks of '90s totally loved being LOST in the trance like euphoria and then realise everyone around you felt the same haha whistles, vicks and soaked in sweaty, unbelievable experiences..I'm there again 👍👍😀😀
Same u read my mind , ultimate favourite song ever ever , some amzing memories come flooding back , i like the version with tje girl singing on it better 🥰🥰🥰
When I hear this I'm instantly transported back to that place and time where real music of outstanding quality vocals not even necessary had us all bouncing through the night thank god I'm not of this generation and the shit they've got going for them I'm still in the 90s peace
Winter Gersy Amen to that. So happy I grew up in the late 80s and 90s. You just explain if you weren’t there and involved. Temple of sound Dublin was a rocket ship.
with or without the vocals the haunting melody of this tune will always send me back to a time of love, happiness and thinking that everyone you met in a nightclub was the dogs bollox. Still sends shivers down my spine 20 years later, for gods sake somebody please give dance music it's soul back and the love it portayed. No doubts the drugs helped but they weren't the main source of the good times we all, those you can remember at least. To those that were there love to you all.
Last Rythm is still played regularly now some 20 years on at the monthly Re-Unitez raves in Sheffield and still receives the desired effect. Some tunes were made to last. I am blessed to have been part of the early 90's old skool scene. I will never forget the experiences and I will take the memories to my grave.
Does anyone remember the Eclipse in Coventry?... well that place was absolutely carrying the swing back in the early 90's which was where I heard this track - I remember Dj Sasha did a rewind and man I tell ya the crowd went absolutely fuckin radio rental for real.... best times of dance 87-91' and if you missed it then yeah, you missed out BIGTIME!! Miss those days terribly. x
This has just given me goosebumps. The amount of times we stuck the Retrospective of House Club Classics CD on after a night out, untold. Late 90s was my clubbing peak, so many good tunes. Happy days. PS - I still have the odd clubbing session but you can't beat the golden oldies.
@Todda1973 I,m in my 40,s(nooooo)Got into the music and vibe in 88 and called it a day in 94.This tune and many many more are what music is all about, neck tingling, finger tapping, foot pumping ,nerve jangling old school classic tunes..I was a dancer at early raves and when i show my kids they love it..Dad is cool again.lol
closing tune nation wide for those who know. especially orbit with dj sasha,mc man paris. that guy was poetic at the right time to every tune. new years eve oh with n-joi live just to solidify the best night in the best club built balconys all round, cave areas, army netting every where and a heartbreaking tune like this just as you leave- congratulating the guy that's dance battled with you for hours. good times man
And spill out on to the pavement, drenched in sweat, your Soviet jeans, Destroy T-Shirt and Reebok Pumps soaking wet, spending the next hour and a half stood on the pavement dancing to the ringing in your ears, pupils like fucking saucers, until you finally realise that everyone else has gone home. The party is over for another weekend. Spend the next three hours searching for your car.
Youve made an old man happy Dave. Found your channel and it's blown my mind. All the tunes from my clubbing days back in the early 90's. Now an old fart who needs to be tucked in by 10pm. Not out for 4 nights straight, dancing the night away! Cheers.
@markotik75 I come back here often and it's not that I am unhappy with my life now it's just I can't ever live the thrill of these times again. It went too quickly and I know I will never feel it again, 25 years ago, how did it go so quick?
Why don't I get the same love resonance with these new tunes? Suppose 80/90's dance scene was the last great movement for us people? Love is all you need n a few moves always helps 😀
This is by far my most fav dance tune.....not "Raver" we balled it going to the dancing .....we'd laugh at all the cheesy quavers with their hi viz and vice whereas we all went like we was going to the football dressed in our casual gear......the death of the casual movement and the birth of British house music.....great time to be alive
@davyreefer this is an absolute classic i am 39 now and this was my all time favourite tune, Hacketts every weekend in Blackpool, Quality. No music will ever be the same.
I heard this in Ibiza in space this year and it totally melted me im 38 and I guess most of the people in there didnt have a clue as to what it was unreal :-)

I didn’t really hear it clubbing in Trade, but up Northwest in the back of the car, Manchester, Blackpool … I never knew the name till now. There is a key change/chord progression at 3.33 make a grown person cry. What an absolute joy 🥲 I can die happy. Beautiful.
