1) B.E. Mechanical Engineering
2) Application Interview/ Selection , Medical.
3) 12 months Pre-sea training at college ( Get exempted from MEO class IV part A, COC )
4) 6 months as junior engineer / deck cadet on board ship.
5) Obtain MEO class IV part B COC.
6) Sail as certified engineer at Merchant Ship for 12 months sea time.
7) Obtain MEO class II (Part A & B) COC.
8) Sail on Merchant Ship as a 2nd Engineer for 18 months sea time.
9) Obtain MEO class I , COC.
Eligible to sail on Merchant Ship as a Chief Engineer .
