Being a redhead myself, I wonder why people just feel that it is okay to always be dissing people with red hair. I have heard "redheads are ugly", and many more derogatory things said. I especially don't like being referred to as a "Ginger". Now, I am surprised to hear that sitting next to a "Ginger" is such a challenging thing. I don't get it! Okay, well maybe I have made a couple of dumb blonde comments a time or two, but I have also said, "Is it true blondes have more fun"? I think the negative comments about redheads go way deeper. I am not sure why. I happen to think Sam looks great as a redhead. It is a little disappointing when I see him as a blonde now.

Probably started by the English because of the tiff between them and the Irish as well as the Scottish. A lot of trends or silly beliefs have weird origins. Like the White dress for wedding or wigs for royalty/aristocracy. Or how pagan festivals were changed into Christian festivals. It’s all due to a reason, sometimes out of jealousy or necessity.
Making people believe that redheads r beneath them would help during war times. The othering is necessary in order to fight battles where u come face to face with an enemy.
I don’t get that either. I live “ginger” hair!!!

No creo que Sam sea básico para nada. Parece un hombre muy inteligente y talentoso, además de un perfecto caballero que no pierde la tabla y siempre es generoso y avispado al responder cuando le hacen preguntas muy personales o agresivas en las entrevistas.

you don't make fun of people you barely know, but insulting your close friends is sometimes part of the fun. I bet they are THAT close because they reached that level where they can hurl such jokes and laugh it off. If you haven't heard funny insults from your bestfriends, you don't have one.
I agree. Only discovered OL 6-8 months ago so I’ve watched a lot of interviews. At first I laughed along with them, he’s always so good natured. He just laughs when she says things like “I didn’t realize how much training I’d have for a toddler having worked with Sam.” Then, “he such a child, he like’s ketchup with his steak”. Ok, still giggle w them. But then she raised her voice about the voice texting dropping the f bomb every other sentence, so I’m done w her. (That on a “Happy Sad Confused” podcast w Josh Horowitz. You can find on UA-cam).
I completely agree with you!!! Well said! Caitriona Balfe thinks she's better than Sam Huegham. Her ego has increased a lot, hasn't it? She thinks she's more inteligent and smart.
