[Berkeley Seminar] Sam Vandervelde: Where is the middle of a Fibonacci sequence?

I have a question from the few minutes around the big reveal where we order all possible sequences by their middle term.
We can create a sequence by picking any 2 integers, F1 and F2
and we get an output of 1 middle term. Does that mean that there's some information that gets lost in the process?
Where does that extra degree of freedom go?
Is the extra degree of freedom somehow constrained within the range of 0.618< δ
