So in this video, you’ll see my hostel tour and all the facilities that I get in my hostel. I live in Stanza Living (South Campus) hostel. If you’re a Delhi University (DU) student or you’re looking for hostels in Delhi, this is a great option for you. I’ve been living here since I moved to Delhi for my college.

Are coachings for competitive exams like ssc-cgl available near south campus ?
I don’t think it’s available so for this exam but you can always travel for coachings like most of the students.

According to me, JMC and Guru Gobind college tops this list. Both are great colleges.
Personally for me, I’m not a person for girls college. So if I’d be in your place, I’ll choose SGGSCC. For placements, fest, exposure and eveything else, SGGSCC is great.
Even JMC is great college. Both are very similar in terms of placements, fest and exposure.

You’ll get single room for approx ₹23,000 in south campus. Rates will be high in north campus.
Hi, sorry to pester you again like this, but could you tell how is the campus/college life at venky? Since its south campus it gets isolated, does it mean that college life isn't happening? or just how campus life generally is at venky
Campus life is good at Venky.
Just like Hudson lane in north campus, we have 100’s of cafes right in front of college in Satya Niketan. And you can always go to nearby places with your friends, Saket, CP and all. You’ll not be missing out on much.

Dii i got venky and i came to heard that satya niketan is not a safe place. There are boys who drink cigarettes and comment. Is it true and what is the nature of the area around stanza and outside venky college. Please guide
I’ve never faced a situation like this but this can be the case anywhere you go. You have to take care of yourself. Overall, Satya Niketan is a great area according to me because it’s near our college and it’s a student friendly area.

Not in this hostel.
Do i have to come to delhi for hostel in kmc college or it can be done online?
I have allotted KMC for bsc life sciences
For college hostels, there will be a form that’ll be available on college’s website after college reopens. So you’ve to fill that and wait to see if you get selected or not. Because seats are very limited and the student with greater distance from college gets the seat.

Hansraj college except has a good brand name, great placements. It is in Kamla Nagar and hostels and PGs are available there.

Hi, I appeared for CUET this year and I might have to choose between Venky and SGTB Khalsa for BCOM Hons. Could you please guide? I am considering to put khalsa above venky as it is in north campus, has better placement record and is more convenient for me Is this a mistake?

Hii, Venky is much better than Khalsa.
Just because it has a north campus tag doesn’t make it a good college.
Venky has a good brand name, much better crowd and great placements.
Also, I never heard anyone saying that Khalsa has better placements than Venky.
Most of the people, even me put Venky even above Ramjas and KMC.

Hey, Most stanza living PGs do not possess elevators but here in South Campus, Unilive PGs do provide lifts and they charge accordingly. As far as visitors are concerned, they are allowed for a specific time range and in case, they want to stay overnight at Stanza PGs, per night charge is Rs.500

It’s located in Satya Niketan (DU South Campus). And their charge starts from ₹14,000 and goes upto ₹19,000 for a dounle occupancy room for each person.

This one is in South Campus but there are many available hostels available in North Campus as well. Check out my latest Shorts video. That hostel is in North Campus.
And it’s a private hostel company (Stanza Living), not a college hostel.

How is ba prog in venky? I don't think there are good placements for ba prog . I don't know if I should be happy that i got this college or not.
You should definitely be happy. Venky is a great college. And most of the placements are open for all courses. And we’ve great faculty too in Venky.

Hansraj is a great college if you’re sure that you’ll get a seat there, then I think you should go for that.

You can stay out at night. It’s just that you have to mail your resident captain regarding this.

This is a girls hostel but there are a lot of properties of Stanza Living for girls and for boys.

See, affordability is subjective. But DU’s college hostels are affordable but the seats are very limited.
And private hostels will be expensive.
You can look for PGs or flats. They’ll be affordable than hostels.
You’ll find numerous PGs in north campus and south campus. But for that, you’ll have to come and find a good one by yourself.

what should I prefer more,bcom hns or eco hns?placements wise
Placement wise, both are good options. Both degrees are eligible for placements in many companies.
But I’d say if your main goal is to get a placement in any field, then go for bcom hons. because it is bit easier than eco hons. and also, then you can focus on other things to upgrade your resume as well.
Eco Hons as a degree requires more effort.
But then if you want placement in a particular economic field, then you should go for eco hons.
Also, eco hons as a degree in comparison to bcom hons is given more respect.
Now, it depends upon you.

You can get Hindu, Venky, Ramjas, KMC for both bcom hons. and eco hons.
Now for Hansraj, your score is very close to their cutoffs but I cannot guarantee you because competition is very high but keep an eye on that. It’s a great college.
Other than this, you’ll definitely get the above mentioned colleges.
