Santa Barbara was eight years of daytime TV magic that probably will never be duplicated. The whole cast, stories, sets were all winners. We will never see such an ensemble again. All their Emmys were so well deserved. Just goes to show that creativity can exist in daytime. BRAVO!
A's love for Marcy is beautiful to see in real life. I am so glad they had the connection that they had, as A called her his soulmate and that they would be with each other even unto death. Soulmate indeed
The hugs and affection are the same on any thing they are doing together and it just so beautiful to see! With they still acted together miss them so much and santa barbara!!
I still remember watching this live. I was sixteen years old and SO enamored with A and Marcy. Even at that young age, I could appreciate how talented they were and what special human beings they were (and are). It is my extraordinary honor to now, thirty years later, call A a friend. Such special souls!
i can't tell you how many times i've replayed this moment over the years and i never stop appreciating it. marcy's talents are sorely missed by her many fans but i wish her continued success and happiness throughout each phase of her life.
I loved Marcy as Liza on All My Children...wish I had seen her on Santa Barbara. Well deserved Emmy and a very risky storyline (but very much character driven and extremely well written).
She was great on SB. I was a teenager and SB was great. I never told my family this but I had a crush on her as a teenager , I didn't want my family teasing me about it. Greatest part of my teen years watching this show and our family living in a pretty cool house.
@@scottmeckley2041 I'm a straight woman and even I had a crush on Marcy, lol. I alternated between wanting to be her and wanting to be her little sister/best friend. She was (and still is) beauty goals. I wish she was still acting but I am glad she has found happiness in her life serving God. (SB aired from the time I was 12 - 18 and I cannot overstate how important the show was to me and what a special place it has in my heart to this day.)
