It's always delicious to finish a meal with some Sauternes! Not so fan of Sauternes on Foie Gras... a bit too much I guess !

We totally agree, a lot of people get scared of sweet wine but its very delicious and as you said, a great way to end a meal!

I’ve had it more as a celebratory wine similar to the way champagne is drunk at the beginning in addition to foies gras, cheeses, etc. Don’t know if Sauternes producers would approve of it being considered a dessert wine even though this notion now seems to be widespread.
